In 2019 and 2020 two of our grown sons (34 years and 41 years) were diagnosed with cancer. One had stage 4 colon cancer and one with stage 3 high grade osteosarcoma. They lived in the Carolinas and we were serving on staff in a church in Texas and because of the risk of Covid, we could not be with them. Hardest time of our lives as parents. Then last year, who had osteosarcoma also had kidney cancer and bladder cancer. Now 4 years later they are both cancer free and doing well. God continues to carry us and no matter what the future holds, we know we serve a faithful God!

Ten months after retiring, my husband learned he had lung cancer. Stage 3. Radiation. Light chemo. Immunotherapy. Remission. It returned and they took out half a lung. Two good years. We drove our campervan to Alaska and back. Such an amazing trip! Cancer returned. More surgery, then eventual removal of the remaining half of that lung. Now in remission. Must pace himself but no supplemental oxygen. Surgeon prepared us, saying he had a slim to none chance of surviving that last surgery. But God said, not yet. We hope to leave in two or three weeks for a second trip to Alaska. It's hubby's happy place. We've asked ourselves why God allowed hubby to live, when young folks are dying. But we know God's ways are not our ways. We trust Him.
Thanks for sharing. This video will certainly help others currently walking that same path.
I'm a Realtor. It's hard to take two months off. But your video has given me peace about going to Alaska and spending the money to go. My husband needs this quality time with me. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing your journey. You are right, God’s ways are not our ways. He is faithful and just no matter the outcomes. Some people walk away from God through this. Some cling to God through this. Cling to your Father. He can be TRUSTED.
I am praising the LORD for your good news and pray your husband continues in his health.
      Job 2:10
10 But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. Shall we receive good from God, and shall we not receive evil?”[a] In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

Thank you for sharing. I never broke down after my husband passed away in February. He had surgery, never woke up and later put in hospice when we stated he didn't want to be kept alive on a ventilator. Even going through the planning of the funeral, the funeral itself, and now months later going through his things I never broke down and cried. That is until today listening to both of your beautiful stories. I have done nothing but cried but through the tears I feel such a peace. I know where my husband is, he is with his loving father, God, and Jesus and his parents and two brothers along with my parents and sister. I just lost my dad in September, last year so hadn't completely gone through the grief process of losing him, but your message has given me so much peace and I feel so refresh from the crying I have done. Keep telling your telling. We need to tell our love ones we love them every day because we are never promised tomorrow.

    Hi Tamara and Caleb
Thank you for you channel !
    What an amazing journey
you have invited us on !
    Our family have been watching
‘Our Tribe of Many’ for about
7 years. They are a beautiful
    Christian family in Lincoln
    Nebraska. They currently
    have 11 homeschooled children.
The Dad is a Paster and they
    have a lively church outside
    of Lincoln. The whole family
    lead worship music.
    They recently,in the last two
years, moved onto land, and like your family are slowly learning about chickens,
and farm life. They also purchased two milk cows.
    It’s been fun watching them
    slowly adapt to country life
with all the joys and many challenges.
We really appreciate this family, and we were feeling
    a similarity, an ease, honesty
and sense of humor that both
    your families share.
We are excited to watch your
    channel grow.
    Thanks Again
    Katie ✨🙏✨
    PS
I am especially excited to hear about Tamara’s growing
up in a family of 11 children.

Our oldest grandchild passed in April from glioblastoma brain cancer. He was 35 years old and had fought it from age 22. We were told initially that he would die within 18 months. He told his doctors not to tell him how much time he had left because only God knew that. He underwent 3 brain surgeries, three rounds of radiation and he took part in a couple of clinical trials at MD Anderson in December. He was able to walk and talk just fine until the middle of February when his tumor moved into his right lobe. He had a very special heart for Jesus and he planted so many seeds for faith in his church and our family. Andrew passed peacefully into heaven on April 27th and we miss him so much but he was ready. Cancer is a horrible disease that I pray no one shall suffer from. He was my heart and his love will live on forever through my two great grandchildren he left here with us. I will see him again 🙏

This might sound strange but your testimonies about Sarah and Erome’s moving to heaven journeys are beautiful, it does show the mercy and grace of a mighty God. I am so thankful for your strength and faith in Jesus. It is a really beautiful thing that your boys were given another mom and dad that are able to bring them to Jesus through this difficult journey in their lives. It is also pretty amazing that all of your boys can share in a little sister that they can say “she is my sister”.
I also pray that Sarah and Erome’s family are all still apart of your lives.

Thank you so much for sharing. It is heartwarming to hear how present you are for yourselves and your boys. I lost my dad 13 days before my 10th birthday with 2 younger siblings. We had just moved away from family (4yrs) just 4 months before. My dad died from a massive heart attack. Now 51 yrs later I am grieving things I've never grieved before as my dads siblings are now passing. He had 10 siblings. My mom didn't really have the "village" around and her faith wasn't strong enough for herself but she did "force" us kids to go to church which I am forever grateful, because I DO have a relationship with Christ because of that. But she continues to be bitter, all these years later. You are both a breath of fresh air and I am excited to see your family grow and grow up 💕 Evelyn is going to be the luckiest little girl to be loved by SO Many brothers😁

I can relate with the white skin, no pigment except in freckles, no tan, & SUNBURNS. But he's definitely a redhead! I'm redhead proud & partial to redheads... we are a rare lot!! :) *And it's typical for redhead's hair to fade with age.

Thank you for sharing your journey. I cried through a lot of it as it brought back a lot of memories for me. It will be 5 years on July 8th that I lost me husband of 45 years. He was diagnosed with CML in May of 2016. The oral treatment he was put on led to remission within 3 months. Praise the Lord. However, in May 2018 he was diagnosed with Melanoma and had surgery to remove the mole where it was discovered along with some modes. He then had immune therapy and seemed to be doing well until March 2019 when he started having headaches and some other symptoms. The Melanoma had spread to his brain with 3 small spots and 1 large one. They removed most of the large one and treated the others with that Gamma radiation. We thought things were going well until he suffered a massive seizure. He ended up living 19 days and was awake for about a week of it. I completely understand those last breaths and the agony of losing your spouse. God is good and I'm so thankful that my husband is no longer in pain and is in heaven with our Savior. I'm thankful you found each other and that you are now able to expand your family with a little girl.

I'd say, he's a red head. My Dad and all 11 of his siblings were red heads. I appreciate your video so much. This is the first I've watched but I'll go find your others too. I was married for over 45 years when the love of my life suffered a catastrophic stroke on the operating table and died 4 days later. I was with him and watched as he took his last breath and, as you said, was gone. That was 2 years ago, and I'm doing okay with Jesus as my Lord, Savior and husband. I don't see myself re-marrying but we will see what God has in store. I've also been so thankful I didn't have children at home. Even our grandchildren were grown. In the last year, I've become a great grandmother twice over and I am enjoying the life God has ordained for me. I do miss my wonderful husband and I look forward to spending eternity with him and our 4 children we never got to meet.

It is so encouraging to hear someone else who has gone through so much and has the same outlook of God that I have. My husband passed suddenly March 1, 2022, four days after our 55th wedding anniversary. Then in August 2023 I was diagnosed with aggressive ovarian cancer, a lung disease, and Sjogrens Auto Immune disease all at once. I especially appreciated you admitting that even though you were not giving up on God and his amazing goodness in the middle of all this, you couldn't pray immediately after the shock. Same with me, but I was feeling guilty about it. I am 4-1/2 months post chemo, taking daily pills, and continuing to gain energy, going to concerts, lunch with friends, etc. The Lord bless you for your bold testimony. I am also sharing the unexpected miraculous circumstances that God has done for me with my family, neighbors, doctors, and parents of my piano students. Thank you for sharing your stories. It is heart failure running through our family. My husband of 40 years has been down twice the second time resulting in a heart transplant. Our 5th of 7 sons went into heart failure at age 20. He received a transplant a year before my husband’s. Unfortunately, our son still being young and in denial did not take care of himself and his second heart went down and we lost him at age 21. This year my husband shattered his pelvis in a motorcycle accident and was hospitalized for 4 months and just as he came home our 2nd son went to the ER and now he is waiting for a new heart. Just received the news about a genetic marker putting all the boys at risk. God has been so faithful every step of the way. The prayers and support of our church community have truly sustained us and we have not walked through all of this alone. Keep sharing your journey and the redemption that God has provided for all who trust in him.

You two are such an inspiration to those of us who have similar situations. I recently started dating after my husband of 39 years died with brain cancer. That was four years ago. I subscribed to a couple of dating apps. I’ve found that I only want to date widowers. The guys that are divorced just don’t understand. I haven’t done the dating thing since my late husband and I dated. I’m having to learn all over again. It’s not easy being 62 and dating. I think I’ve kept myself nicely presentable with my weight down. I walk and exercise. Of course time has taken its toll. But not too badly. Still, grieving has been horrible although I did go through counseling. Only widows and widowers understand each other and what they’ve been through. Pray that I find a Godly man. I’m so happy for you two. God bless you and your HUGE family! ❤️🤗🙏

I lost my first husband to cancer and 2 years later I met this man that in 6 months we were married.
Sad to say 14 years later I lost him to cancer too.
So sad… but God gives grace and peace.
Blessings … and enjoy every moment you have together!

I lost my husband of 43 years and went through the cancer journey and everything you described is spot on. We had grandchildren who were devastated but how blessed we were to have that many years compared to both of your losses at such young ages.
I believe both of your spouses are in heaven thanking Jesus and smiling over all of you. They are so happy for you all.

I don't know how, you can even talk about it. I lost my older sister this past March, to complications from surgery. Deb and I were really close and it still hurts, even though I know she is in a better place and no longer suffers physical pain(that she had for over 20 years). Faith in Christ, is what gets us all though our trials in this life.

Thanks for sharing! I love your story, & unfortunately, stories can't have the fun, happy, blessed parts without the hard, sad, difficult parts. Y'all have definitely endured the hard parts, but God has blessed you with such an incredible happy ending... beginning... & I look forward to following along & hearing more. He is good, all the time! God bless your journey!

I am just so thankful for the Lord and his sovereignty over the two of you. The retelling of Arami and learning about Sarah just brought me to tears about how good the Lord is to us if we only have faith. The pain and suffering is all worth it. Grateful the Lord is allowing me to see his story unfold between the two of you. Miss you, sweet Tamara. Pray for you often and can’t wait to see that baby girl get tackled with love from those boys! But God!

It is not our place to judge, you gotta do what makes sense in your circumstances and through God's guidance, as each of us must do in our own circumstances. I love the way you talk about Arami and Sara and their legacy in your lives and for your boys. That you two met and how all of your boys are doing is a wonderful testament to God's love and your trust in Him and each other. Whilst my life circumstances couldn't be any more different from yours, still I am reminded that no matter what is happening in my life God has plans for me and my family.
Jeremiah 29.11 "For I know the plans I have for you... plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Thank you for your testaments, I will keep you in my prayers, luckily God will hear them even though I live all the way down the bottom of the world in Tasmania, Australia. God is good 🦘

These battles you went through were hard and sad. But I’m so glad you are giving God the glory for carrying you through! Your commitment to the Lord is wonderful, He is worthy to be praised! and I’m so glad you are very real and don’t evade things or mince words. We grieve, but not as those who have no hope.
Caleb, you are a catch, but you are also lucky to find such a lovely woman!

My brother went to Hope in Mexico for 8 weeks and did wonderful. At his first checkup his brain tumor was back. He had 2 brain surgeries but never gave up. He was a Christian with a wonderful testimony till the day he went home to be with the Lord. God works in wonderful ways. He had that peace that passes all understanding. “…last breath on earth & instantly waking up in heaven. Thank God for the peace that passes all comprehension.”
