Yes. It is most definitely in development. An Employee from Cyberconnect2 leaked a screenshot of a demo title screen on a Nintendo 3DS of what looks like: Solatorobo 2. His account was suspended soon after. Later after the leak, Mr.Matsuyama himself said in a press conference that the game IS in development, but he did not specify the console. We can assume it's the 3DS, for that's what the prototype was on in the screenshot. Makes sense, Solatorobo is a Nintendo Licensed Product! Have faith! :D
100% agreed. I tried Tail Concerto not because of the Anthro characters, but because it was made by CC2 and I like CC2. And look at that people, I liked the game. I wanted this for the same reason. And look at that! I like the game! And I like the characters. It's like not giving CoD a shot because it's "Another war-based shooter". Not the same reason, but, by thinking that, your not giving a game a chance due to some element in it.
The odds of Red being in Smash Bros. is highly unlikely, as Cyberconnect2 has not talked with Masahiro Sakurai, maker of Smash Bros., Now, the odds of seeing Bayonetta in the game is more likely, and personally, I'd like to see Red in some of Cyberconnect2's games as cameos!
Cyberconnect2 said in a press conference that the Little Tail Bronx series could go on forever if they wanted it to! Thats why I know I will see Solatorobo 2 in the future!

Cyberconnect2 and Takayuki Isobe, director of Tail Concerto and Solatorobo has not confirmed any solid platform at this point. Aside from a screenshot posted on twitter of what looks like Solatorobo 2 on the Nintendo 3DS. So the odds are much higher in the fact we will see the sequel on Nintendo's 6th Gen Handheld this summer, or next year and later! :D
I hate how people are giving this game a bad rep and black listing it JUST because it has Anthromorphic characters in it! Its like this old saying: "Don't judge a book by its cover." Seriously people, this is a good game, all the game critics say so too! Give this game a chance.

I think I have played a game like this on the ps1 before (I think it was the same series). It was actually really good with interesting story, good cutscenes and great gameplay.
@Cadavaris Regardless, its fun, the gameplay is addicting, and the story is like a namco tales game! I love this game, and thats coming from a guy who really isn't into the whole anthromorphic characters idea! all that aside, its a fun game, period.
It is coming to the US. It was just announced by XSEED to be released this fall in the US. Amazon lists a september release.
