What an incredible burst of positive energy and common sense from the Madman. Dad took me hunting at 5 in Michigan. Out at 5am. Heat up Dinty Moore Stew on the engine block. The red, steaming guts, of a white rabbit, on pure white snow. Or in summer, the flap of the fish tails up and down the stringer. God bless the MC5 and the Motor City! My first listens to those records along with being introduced to Black Sabbath and KISS at the time...my life was changed, and I was just 7 years old! Also, the Ted Nugent "Behind the Music" best thing out there!

I woke up this morning sore, tired, & barely aware and less than alert after a forced business travel day yesterday. Staggering into my home office and glancing at my computer screen, I was reminded of this interview I started briefly yesterday and hit play to continue watching. I am now awake, alive, in-tune, grounded, alert, and ready to pounce.
In short, back to myself, the person that makes most people I know slightly uncomfortable and a little concerned for human life.
Thanks, boys and Uncle Ted for the bolt of energy, and reminding this SoCal resident that I'm not alone in my thoughts and values.

Saw Ted at Calif Jam 2 yrs ago before being a grown-up with multiple hidden disabilities impacted my life. Thanks to an angle named Gordon, I got to enjoy the concert sitting on his back for a good view. He was over 6 feet and me barely 5. Life's been horrendously hard since. Still, never forget the cool-ass landing Ted! Thanks for being a great hunter and for all you do for us poor! Thank you for all you do for nature too!

Saw Ted when I around 15 at Kenwick on the Lake in Brights Grove Ontario. There was all these great bands from Detroit and elsewhere. Alice Copper was there too. Three day festival. Now I am 65 so you know how long ago that was. I think Ted's band was the Amboy Dukes at the time.
