This foundation looks beautiful on you. We are the exact skin match! But, I have dry skin. I had samples of the Shade and Illuminate foundation in 5.6, and loved it on me, although I have to heavily moisturize beforehand, but it did not dry out my skin, and looked amazing for hours. I’ll probably skip this one, since it’s more matte. I’m interested in the new radiant primer too.

Hi, thank you! It is a gorgeous foundation and I know it's no help but the LB is as well (I'm wearing it today). Out of the two and I'm splitting hairs, it would be the TF as there is just something extra with the blurring.

Hi, gosh both are just so, so beautiful. I would say that the TF has a more blurring effect but really that's just being picky. If I only had those two in my collection I would be a happy woman.

Wondering if you can answer my questions! 1)what about the shade and illuminate makes you like it more than the old matte one?( because if you have oily skin you would think that you would favor the matte in general so curious!) 2)does the shade and illuminate wear well? Does it make you greasy? 3) what are you thoughts on the new primer?
Hi, 1: it just give a much better finish on my skin, great coverage without being full coverage and has a softness to it so is flattering on mature skin. It wears very well. It doesn't make me greasy but I do powder. I did a video on the new primer which I referred to in this video and it's more geared towards normal, combo, dry skin BUT I do use it underneath a foundation that is quite matte such as the new Sisley one.

What a great review! I also have oily skin and live in hot humid Texas so your foundation reviews are so helpful! I have the TF Traceless Matte and I feel it's just a bit heavy and I think this replacement would be a great addition to my foundations. I haven't tried the TF Shade and Illuminate foundation and that has been on my wishlist for a long time. I can't wait to try instore to see which one works best for me.

And the SPF you use, I'm really interested. I haven't found a single SPF that works well over my skincare and under makeup. It always pills or makes my makeup look like it's separating. What is you morning skincare routine and does it work well under the sunscreen and with makeup on top?
Hi, thank you! TF have gorgeous foundations. The sunscreen that I use always works well at the end of my morning skincare routine and under any makeup that I have. It is the best one I have used. Japanese and Korean sunscreens are far superior to anything else I have tried (and I use a LOT of it). My morning skincare routine is: cleanse, Paua's Choice BHA, toner/essence, vitamin C, niacinamide, moisteriser then my sunscreen. 🦋

Hi, when I was editing the video I thought exactly the same thing but in person they were the same shade. Must have been something to do with the lighting. The TF colour range is a bit confusing so probably pays to get colour matched in-store if you can or see if there is another creator who reviews and wears the same shade in another foundation as you 🦋

I can't get this foundation to work, it keeps seperating leaving me no time to blend. Any tips as I really want this to work as Ive spent €140?
Hi, I've never had that issue and I've used it quite a few times now. Shake the bottle well before use and it may also be your primer?? Such shame since it's so pricey 🦋
You could also use it mixed in with another foundation. At least that way you don’t waste the money you already spent on it ❤
