    was ich seit 30 Jahren an Dick Gaughan liebe, ist diese unvergleichliche IntensitÀt und die Aufrichtigkeit seiner ganzen Lyrik, die man dann, wenn man es ganz ehrlich meint, offensichtlich nur so vortragen kann.

      The Song originates from the scottish poet James Hogg first published in 1819.Guaghan made minor changes to the text and produced his own melody.

    I always conbect his songs and melodies with Dvarven Longbeards, and miners, and those who worked under the ground.
    Truly great bard of the folk music.
