I have an old GHD Platinum straightener and I have to say usually they really are phenomenal! I have super frizz prone thick wavy hair and they work significantly better and faster than other hairtools, the styles also last longer. Not really sure what was up in this video, maybe it was intentional so they could show off the product in more scenes? Agree though it’s rather counter productive.
She gotta invest in good quality hairspray. Hairsprays nowadays aren't all that crisp like in the 2000s. There are some that provide curl preservation but softness.

Your curls drop not because your hair is thick, it is because you straighten it way too much before curling. It needs to air dry and be a bit damp. Also when you curl it over and over it will keep dropping. Curls usually stay on thick hair more than on thin one

Ps Freddy if you read these a little tip for your hair once it's done curls etc wrap it loosely in a bun & a few sprays of light hairspray, in a clip or bobby pins that you can easily take out. Then once dressed and on location take out your hair flip it upside down and gentle style with hands and it would still be fluffy and full. I used to do that at my shoots when we had to jump to locations quickly and it works and my hair has always been very long. Try it next time and see how you go gorgeous. XX

Love all the the clothes...And a Little Hair Spray Freddy!! Even though I'm lucky enough to have curly hair, I at times spray a little on a finger and run it down the curl and let it dry for a minute before brushing out a little... Keeps them in all day.
You need to use fome hair curlers/rods. They need no heat, you put them in after you've done a curl with the straightener and leave until hair cools! Get them for cheap off amazon, it's a game changer! 💛

Yes totally agree- the curls seem to last two hours max- what is the temperature. All other GhDs are set at 185 Celsius.

I just wish Freddy could be more personal in her videos. As of now it feels like she is mostly posing for the camera. I wish she was more relaxed and "real" somehow. Even this vlog, it was mostly her posing for the camera.

And no sorry I’m not going to film myself having bad days or in bed in my pyjamas, I find it strange personally that people want to get THAT close to someone on the internet, it’s an invasion of my privacy. You see what anyone else who isn’t my direct family sees. If that’s not enough for you I am not the right person for you to watch.
