One of my favorite off their bootlegs :). John Paul Jones plays a bass pedal with his foot like under an organ while strumming the rhythm. Hats off! Robert Plant has effects for his vocals, one of them is a harmonizer!
Saw Page/Plant live in '95 and in '98. The '98 show is perhaps the best rock concert I've ever seen, and I've been to a couple of hundred. They were firing on all cylinders in the late '90's.
Yeah great comeback for page, sadly didn’t translate into new material. That creative spark wasn’t there. So page just wanted to play zeppelin and Plant was done with that shit. But page was flying high in 70. Amazing composer, producer and performer
Looking forward to Earl's Court. The peak of their creative power. I have a couple of the five nights at Earl's Court on "bootleg" dvd, and the shows in-total are amazing, playing 3-4 hours every night. Live versions of their acoustic sets are tremendous....as are 10 Years Gone, In My Time of Dying, Trampled Underfoot, and Kashmir. A milestone event in '70's rock.
Sounds like this off the sound board perhaps? Glad we still have all these bootlegs. Hard to imagine that they were doing over 3 hrs most nights on tour. Rock Gods… if ever the term truly applied to any band. ❤
i suggest you guys listen to the Ten Years Gone 1977 in seattle there is a video and the solos jimmy plays have a story in them in a way he has a recurring section in them i personally love them you don’t even have to record to it just in your own time i feel as if you’ve enjoy it peace and love!
Page wanted to bring in another guitar player on this tour to help the songs that needed more than 1 to sound better but JPJ said "NO" instead, JPJ would play the 3 neck thingy and the bass with foot pedals
This video is premiering right after the first part on Sunday, Feb 26th. Part 1 starts at 9am PST/12pm EST/17.00 GMT, and Part 2 (i.e. this video) starts 45 minutes later. See you there! Part 1 - czcams.com/video/j7X2Tmvrkmk/video.html
77 plant was healthier than he was in 73 and 75. While his did voice changed he was healthy and singing with power. 73 was prob his least powerful year, 75 power but battled cold and flu, 77 healthier and powerful for the most part. Occasionally sung out night here and there
There are lots of bootleg videos of Page and Plant from 1995 to 1998, including a live version of “ Wanton Song” , should you wish to consider it during your analysis of side 4 of PG. Best wishes from England 🏴.
bonzos drum tone on listen to this eddie was just off the scale! wait till you do the gig properly. that night he simply wasnt human right from the opening track!!!! you need ot hear it to believe it seriously! czcams.com/video/lGNljiG0Kwc/video.html

Also the “Stairway to Heaven” from Earls Court is just superb.
❤❤❤Robert❤❤❤
The first time I listened to this bootleg was in 1999, I was 14 years old and from then I started my digital collection.
Спасибо! С 1983года ,когда я впервые услышал цеппелинов, они для меня номер один !
So many thank yous to Mike & Dev…….much ❤. ……you are amazing!!!!!!!
Love all the guitar tracks on Ten Years Gone
The Eddie is a great concert..plants voice is on point
Prob his best of the tour
I saw them in late May of this tour and I know now how lucky I was , 4 sold out shows in Landover, Maryland!!!
u should react to the song remains the same from this same bootleg.
Bonham is insane
I was going to say the same thing. Crazy drums.
Yes!
Gotta love them live!
There are several live recordings of Zeppelin playing this!
Than for this👍
Never heard these versions before
Fender Telecaster with a "B" bender!!! Look it up.
JPJ does play on this song, he's a monster!!!
Great version,‘prob the best of the tour or their career for that matter

I think you're right. Has to be a soundboard recording, but I hear some crowd, too, so... hybrid?
@@MusicforBusyPeople it's actually a very well recording audience recording
@@rishavpaudel5021 Listen to This Eddie is an audience recording, got it. But I think the 1996 one is soundboard + audience, no?
@@MusicforBusyPeople oh nevermind, it's actually a sbd I think. There'd have to be more crowd noise in it to be an AUD I guess?

have you reacted to Bron yar Stomp live at earls court yet? love hearing bonham sing, would've been great if both he and jimmy sang more often
just to add to this there's a really good version of SIBLY from the page and plant tour!
We will be doing more Earls Court soon
Review TSRTS from listen to Eddie, best drum intro ever

A friend of mine stole his sisters car to see LZ in L.A. at this concert. He had a great time but was in deep doo doo when he got back.
😅
And we're going to thank you for the donation in our next video, my friend 😉
@@MusicforBusyPeople My pleasure, your deep dives into the Zepplin era Music are over the top. Absolutely the best reaction podcast.
Can you say WORTH IT!
@@juliemanarin4127 His sister was more pissed that she wasn't invited, than him stealing her car. The parents on the other hand.
Jimmy was just getting used to his B-Bender
Great sounding bootlegs. Love this beautiful song . Was it about Shirley? If so he got to revisit that first love

Please do a no quarter reaction from listen to this eddie show already

Yes, I am starting to discover that. Live Wanton sounds like a good idea!
Here’s one! czcams.com/video/Zbpp5P6CKcE/video.html
Thanks for the link. We already just recorded our reaction. I chose one from this concert - czcams.com/video/CmMx7xw87zE/video.html
@@MusicforBusyPeople Yeah that’s a really good choice Mike. See you later for PG side 4. Best wishes from England 🏴.
When you react to Night Flight, please consider reacting to Jeff Buckley’s cover from his Live at Sin-e (Shh-nay) album. It is phenomenal.

The drums on TSRTS is the best drumming ever
Bass pedals but you can’t really hear them
