In case anyone is wondering what happened to Sabatiello's and Sammy (I thought I would contribute this time 🙂here goes: Sabatiello's closed in October 2008, the episode aired on November 13th 2008 and was filmed in February 2008. He said he would not had done KN again as he lost money and was not compensated for he's loss of income, or received any new equipment as often normal on the show, he also got a sign outside saying it was Chef GR's favourite Italian restaurant in Fairifield County. Sammy opened Sabatiello's Gourmet Pizza in Riverside in December 2008 which also closed as the rent was not paid. Sammy was arrested for trashing his restaurant and unauthorised use of credit cards, he can now be found working as a chef in New York at The Appalachian Market, a gas station that also serves food, Pizza being a speciality.

I have put a cup of water in the microwave to warm it app for my hot Cocoa and I literally have to have a paper towel because the cup gets so hot what was he thinking that the plate was gonna be Nice and cool plus it doesn't matter how hard-headed the customer was you don't talk to someone like that when they are paying you to eat your Food Not to mention that he has Imitation crab meat no long story short ask my dad and stepmom if they gave me the choice I would eat invitation crab meat till the day if I'm going to a place and it has crab or lobster I want actual crab or lobster not imitation

it's fascinating that once the restaurant is organized and busy the work load required by the owner(s) increases - preferring the work load of an unsuccessful restaurant - several restaurants close after gaining the knowledge for sucess 😢

Don't know where you're from but this is a superb idea and it *was* the experience at the old Wong Kei in Wardour Street... famous for the belligerence of the waiters. Just looked it up and apparently they've toned it down now. I have no nostalgia for being broke and vegetarian in late 80s London though... :-)

I will say this At least the kitchen was clean like so many times we see kitchens that are broken down dirty etc so the fact it was clean surpised me.
