The movie continues to air throughout December. Check the UP TV movie schedule (their site) for all times and dates. Yes, it was inspired by a true story and with character and romance storylines added goes into the fiction category. But the message is clear, miracles happen!

He is in violation of the town's adopted regulation for building code's and it's considered law breaking [ i don't think the tree being up is a bad thing either, i wish more of us stood up for what we believe in}..it's a violation of the town’s penal code in other words...he is asked to take it down or spend time in jail...the law sucks, but nothing about law is ever fair! IMHO {see any case ever}
penal code - the legal code governing crimes and their punishment legal code - a code of laws adopted by a state or nation ...or aka in this case a law that was put in place for this small town to keep a uniformal image that all citizens must conform too ...unless the code becomes abolished by the towns council, then this debate would not be in violation..... Foolish for sure, but towns and cities of this world are crazy as shit with there rules and regulatory bi-laws!!

Great mystery movie. How did that tree get there? It’s a classic “whodunnit” with a totally unexpected ending.

While this was an adorable movie...the kissy, kissy scenes between the supposed DA and the lawyer...who were on the same case, is TOTALLY ILLEGAL AND UNETHICAL. AND UNREALISTIC. This kissy, kissy stuff is what leads to 'sappy movie' qualities. I read the list of goofs...and this Canadian film that says a soldier on leave is not alowed to wear earrings while in uniform, is not Canadian law. Give me a break.
