After watching "The Genius Paik" show, I was inspired to recreate Spicy Ground Beef Bulgogi. Jeyukssambap, a Korean spicy bulgogi combo meal, caught my attention. It had been too long since I last enjoyed the flavors of Korean spicy bulgogi, so I decided to give it a try. Using romaine and endives instead of the usual green lettuce, the dish turned out to be a delightful twist. Trust me, this recipe is incredibly easy. Give it a go this week and treat yourself to a flavorful experience!

I've missed you two!
You can get the first celtuce stalk in the Chinese supermarket, they have it and they also have another thing called a vegetable garden lettuce that you can find in the Chinese supermarket. Also all you have to do is just get the lettuce stock and then just cut off the end and the tip wash it first and then peel the skin off because if thereâs like a very very thick layer of skin that you need to peel to get to the vegetable and then you can cut it up into strips just how you like it and And then add the pickling seasoning of your choice and make it however, you want to make it but a lot of people in Shanghai China. They love to eat it with sautĂ©ed beef or chicken or shrimp or any type or vegan style. If you prefer thatâs a really good vegetable you just canât overcook it in the pan because then it gets like really mushy and then itâs not good anymore.
Whereâs the link to the gochujang?
@@lovelyloves it's in the recipe link.
Iâm so glad youâve started to make recipe videos again. Not that your other videos were bad, but Iâve been watching for years and missed this format of yours â€
I missed the "asian at hooome" so much!!! Looking forward to more recipe videos from you. This looks very easy to meal prep
Me too â€â€â€â€
Me 3!
I am sooooo happy that we got the good old Seonkyoung cooking back!! Because of your recipes I started Asian cooking about a couple of years ago. I really tried them all. In fact, we eat Asian ( most Korean) for 90% of the time. I missed this so much. Thank you for coming back !!
The fun and happy Seonkyoung was gone too long.
@@buddygoodlet1112 Yes, she was!! But she's back. Looking forward for all the recipes. If god meant for us to only eat plants he wouldn't have give us cows and pigs...:)
Thank you for watching my video today! I've got this amazing recipe for Spicy Ground Beef Bulgogi that you've got to try! The recipe can't be easier than this. You can find the written recipe on my website at seonkyounglongest.com/spicy-ground-beef-bulgogi/. Go ahead and give it a shot & thank me later. đ
I thought you were plant based now? I guess it's been some time since that announcement. Looks yummy!
Seonkyoung lazy meals are the best! Especially during hot summer months when you don't want to heat up the kitchen. Thank you, and my family will thank you when they eat this.
Asian at hoooooooome!!! Sheâs back and Iâm living for it
I love your recent looser style, candid moments, iteractions with Jacob and speaking Korean ( even without subtitles) .
Definately trying this recipe with the endive etc... Yum!
Same!!
I don't know if it's because I'm older now, or because I have Lupus and generally feel like crap all of the time, but I want everything simple now. You know? Give me 5 ingredients and 1 pan, and let me live. I was focused on complicated everything when I was young and well. But now... Now I want simple and clean. So when you said, "This is my true, lazy recipe," I was hooked!
So happy to see the original "Asian at home" style videos- thank you!
More to come!
You and Jacob remind me of how my husband and I work together. Love watching y'all create as a team! And YAY "ASIAN AT HOME!" Thank you for another amazing recipe

Oh my goodness! "Hi guys, I'm Seonkyoung Longest, and welcome to Asian at home!" I missed that so much, and I got goosebumps hearing it againđ€đ„°. I miss all of it, especially the "live Wednesdays",
enjoying the food and the show and wondering if I'd get a "shout out" from Seonkyoung or Jacob, and hoping to see a bit of Seonkyoung's famous shimmy shake kitchen dance đ€. It doesn't really matter to me what you and Jacob are doing as long as you two beautiful people are happyđ. Hope all is well for you, Jacob, Trinity, Hanyeol and your lovely mother and all your family and friends. Love you Seonkyoungđ„°!!!
Love you!! đ„čâ€ïž

Yay! Thank you!
The two of you are soooo cute ...
Stay Blessed â€
Yum â€â€â€
I know you would still post but i missed these type of videos so much!!!!
I haven't had any kind of bulgogi. Looks very delicious.
Find an all you can eat korean bbq place around you. It will be on the menu and then order as much as you want! đ
Yay! â€
Pure perfection as always, Seonkyoung. You have the cutest, most adorable voice.
Thank you so much!!
I think the combination of bulgogi with the rice, pickles & lettuce would tone the spice down a bit which is great for me as I love the flavour of chilli but my sensitive stomach canât tolerate the heat. Your recipes are easily modified to suit all palates, thank you â€.
Thank you â€
You're welcome đ
Welcome Back!â€â€â€â€
Thank you for the recipe
My pleasure đ
@@SeonkyoungLongest you both enjoy the rest of the week and upcoming weekend
Watching this makes me think that fans of Korean food might be right at home with the flavors of an American chili cook-off (especially bean-less Texas chili).

Did you make the cucumber kimchi? Please can we have the recipe?
@@hedwigwendell-crumb91 I use Senokyoung quick kimchi recipe but instead of using napa cabbage I use cucumber. But she has a recipe for cucumber kimich I believe. It would be a old video not sure how long you have been following her if I can find it I will try to post.

Welcome back Seounkyoung!
I love and have missed the "Asian at Home" videos, too bad Hanyoel isn't filming with you! Can't wait to see your next adventures after you leave Hawaii.
He's filming supercars in Atlanta now! đđ„đđŒ He loves his new job so much!!
@@SeonkyoungLongest Oh wow! Good for him, that's so awesome!
We just wanted to see Jacob eat some!
I'm going to try this sometime. Looking good. I'm trying to expand my world of flavors a bit because in Finland, where I live, the food culture is really very poor.
Bulgogi is one of our favorite meals! We make it with marinated thin slices of NY sirloin or rib eye, we use different toppings, and different lettuces, butter lettuce or maybe Romaine. I never used gochujang with it, but I will now! Yours looks wonderful, though and we will try it.
Iâve got the gochujang in the red tub from H-Mart, our local Korean store. I live in SF Bay Area. They do not have gochugaru powder!!! I live in the SF Bay Area. How could they not have it? Only chilli powder from China, non-specified hot pepper. No vegetarian fish sauce w/the pineapple (I want the veg kind bc I do not like fish sauce though I like anchovies. Ikr? Weird.)
How can you like southeast Asian food if you donât like fish sauce? WellâŠI DO!!!
Thanks for the recipe! Love you!
I've missed the Asian at hoooommmeee intro so much!!!
She's so cute đ
ììí©ëë€ ë§ë볎ìŹì^^
Asian at home is back the world is healing!
Se mira muy sabroso ami me gustĂł la comida koreana Jijijiji
A dish that would pair really well with rice.
Oh yes!đ
I would chose bulgogi, if i can have banchan with it!!! Love your cooking, Seon!!! And I have always added gochujang and gochugaru to my bulgogi! I thought it was just me. And I love your big bites! Love your vids!!!!
Thank you!!
I found 5 stores in Austin Texas that carry that gochujang, so I highly recommend googling and seeing if you can pick it up around you! it also seems to be available online. :-)
I tried this last night and it was an instant hit with my boyfriend! He kept exclaiming how yummy it is on every bite. đ Thanks for this recipe!
So glad!

Maui is sad to see you go, Lahaina is sad to see you go. But the main thing is to have that sparkle in your eyes. Be happy both of you. Sorry to see you leave our Island home. Come back soon!
