I've always wondered where do the Avarosans get their blue clothes. It was never explained why can they have them in the place where they live. It seems more like the writers only have them that color because blue=ice=Freljord, rather than some logical reason in-universe.
I don’t have a factual answer! But if I had to speculate - the Avarosans are a tribe that typically occupies the south of the Freljord, specifically where it’s a little greener and things grow a little more (they’re actually pretty Agrarian, as a culture) - it could be that they have flowers present that allow them to extract a dye of some kind that’s harder to come by in the more frigid regions. The true answer, however, is probably just “cause it looks good” 😂

@@tamas9554 "logical in universe reason" you just have the answer to your question. You use logic to know that the color blue is easily identifiable to ice and visually make sense in that region. Same thing why they chose to associate red to Noxus. If you want to use realistic logic, you really believe there's a world where everyone wears the same thing everyday? If you're an artist you wouldn't even question why they chose that color. But since you sound like it bothers you a lot. You can dye fabric from natural colors that you can get from nature, so who knows there would be berries somewhere that has a blue fruit.
@@Vizible21 It makes sense for Demacia and Noxus to have different color themes because they are advanced nations. The same thing can't be applied to the Avarosans. League is actually fairly realistic with its world, Arcane perfectly embodies that. Besides the fantasy elements, things actually make sense inside it.
Blue color was only chosen because they live in an icy region, but thats all. It was never explained why is that the case. Its just a leftover from Ashe's old design.
Also, blue berries as dye? :D In a region where starving is a common thing they would really waste any food just for cosmetic reasons? This is still the most logical explanation and even this one doesn't make any sense.
Fun Fact: Based on Swain's quotes (who possesses a demon that reveals secrets) it is theorised that Ashe lied about the bow and her relation to Avarosa.
