Great video , I’ve been tying for over 30 years and have been resistant to tying Squirmy worms and tying with foam . I’ve been in my tying room since December and have tied nothing but hundreds of foam flies patterns , my wife says I drank the koolaid I tell her no it’s not like that . I feel bad for lying to her. So yes it’s true you can teach an old dog new tricks .Thanks for sharing
I was used to skeptical of craft foam but know use it in tons of patterns.
I love your explanation to this craft, I’m just starting, and I needed these videos . So I don’t waist money or time.
Glad I can help.
Foam is a great addition to any fly tyers arsenal. So much can be done with it, nice frog, impressive! the addiction of tying. AMEN BRO
It sure is!
Never thought about turning a popper head around. Great tip for thinking outside the box.
Good stuff!
Thanks for the video. I’ve never seen foam used like deer hair before. Now I need to try some. Thanks again
Just started binging your channel, I love the outside the box approach mixed with traditional tying. Great job I’m hooked
THANKS!!
A Great Video - I love tying with foam and I learned 2 new techniques today - I will check out your other videos. Thanks!!
You're a mad man for coming up with the Knucklehead. This was a better tutorial than I thought it'd be ! Well done Brian 👏
Thanks, man!
Thoroughly enjoyed! First time viewer. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing!!! I love tying with foam.
That pasta foam made me SUBSCRIBE

Thanks Brian, I learn a ton from your videos
Good to hear! They are fun to make, for sure.
So crafts and fly fishing! Perfect for crafty me!
Just found your channel as a new fly tier love you content on my 5th video already !!
Thanks!!
I just tied some bluegill foam flies this past weekend at AGFC JB Hunt with TU.
Great stuff Brian. I'm about to branch out from all my tiny trout flies and spin up some big patterns for snakeheads. I'm definitely digging that double barrel headed frog. 👍
Thanks, man! Snakeheads are on my radar for sure!
Great video! I like to see all the different uses for foam! I have to try the double barrel popper heads!!!
They are super good.
Congrats Garret! Perfect timing on this video.....I am about to tie up some foam bass poppers.
Perfect!
I never thought about craft foam. Great videos
Thank you! 😊
The only time I tied using foam was
Last spring/summer when I filled my box with foam cicadas. I have a couple dozen cicada flies still and about a dozen sheets of black foam. Going to try some of the double barrel poppers next.
Go hit the Green in June and take your Cicadas :-)
knuckle deep fly - awesome pattern, cannot wait to work on some, great video.
Thanks!
Just started tying jigs and found your channel. The wife and I are heading to the Ozarks first week of June for Crappie. Enjoying your content!
Thanks!
Love foam and I gotta try the fettuccine knuckle head!! What a cool fly!!
I think it is pretty cool too. ;)

100% agree.
Excellent video, keep 'em coming 👍. Foam is probably one of my favorite materials and since seeing your knuckle deep streamers I've been playing with different ways to use foam slivers 🤣.
Super cool! Thanks!
You're tying tips inspired me to combine colors and different materials on my flies!!
Cool!
I'm already figuring out how to scale this down for panfish! Thanks for inspiration!
Glad to help!
Great video on the uses for foam.

Awesome video yet again! Could you possibly do some dry fly stuff in the future. Wondering for us northern Michigan folks!

Thanks so much!
Keep them coming always good to learn
Thank you for the awsome ideas to do with foam didn’t know that we could use it in more ways than one!
Great fettuccine foam idea
Combining colors by gluing two pieces together in smaller sheets than cutting to size hoppers October caddis mice
I don't usually tie with foam but the fettuccine foam does look very tempting. Thanks for the video
Thanks for watching!
Love ur vids! Keep ‘em coming and thankyou
Thank YOU!
Now that I have a knuckle deep, I’m gonna try to make one. Excited about the challenge and love owning one of your flies!!
So cool to hear! Thanks man!
amazing information, great presentation. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and passion!
My pleasure!
That was way cool and way different definitely out of the box on thinking
Love the frog. Thanks Brian!
Such a versatile material! Awesome work!
Thanks!
Love your channel. I’ve started trying to tie some of the flies you show. As a matter of fact I’m going to try a couple of them tomorrow in the Spring river.
Super cool!
Always enjoy the tips and tricks you share on this channel. Thanks!!
Good info Brian, thanks for the video
Brian been following for a little over a year now. Mostly tied dry flies, nymphs, and non articulate streamers…but as of lately I’ve been getting into salt water or large flies. You have me searching for the LIRS Now because my peak rotary isn’t enough. Keep up the informative and teaching vids
I picked my vise up from spawnflyfish.com
You will not regret the LIRS.....I will never be without one. Definitely NOT for small flies--but big hooks.
Great stuff! Really like your tying tips videos! Greetings from Denmark 🙌🏼
Thanks so much!
Thank you for the video. Love tying with foam, and it was awesome seeing other ways to use it.
Thanks for posting. Foam poppers and divers are next on my list for the fly box .
The Fettuccine foam gave me some ideas and inspiration, Thanks Brian
Let me know what you come up with!
Heck yeah, about time! 90% of the terrestrial patterns I tie use foam, always looking for ways to up my game. Great video
Thanks, Greg!
Awesome video, and a fantastic material to use. Thanks for all of the tying tips videos!
Thanks for watching!
Wow, how come I never thought of that? It look so cool, but will it catches fish? Love it. Thanks for sharing.
Just started watching your channel. I have been binging. I recently started making bucktail jigs for walleye. Your video on deer hair was awesome. Keep up the great work!
Welcome aboard!
Nice uses of the foam.
Really enjoy all your videos , some great ideas in this one👍👍
Thanks, Thomas!
Awesome tutorial. Thanks.
I might need to try tying some knuckleheads again soon because I struggled with the head the last couple times, but this should probably help
Hopefully this helps. Here is the original video, too: czcams.com/video/rD76cjFjEn0/video.html
Lobe the look of the knuckle head I gotta find the video you did on it ❤❤
czcams.com/video/rD76cjFjEn0/video.htmlsi=hTQ1S3nmCapE8JmU 👍👍👍
Love the videos, keep them coming. One tip for cutting foam is to use a rotary cutter. It makes cutting small batches of fettuccini a breeze.
Just started tying with foam and it is definitely fun! Haven’t tried the popper heads or double barrel heads or foam diver style heads yet
Love foam, thanks for the tips
Thanks for watching!
Foam fan favorite
Thanks Brian!!! Been having trouble figuring out the fettuccinni foam now I can put your technique into practice. How bout a fettuccinni foam mouse?!!
I dodged foam for years.Three years really got into foam.I turn a double backwards makes a great mouse head.I color foam with a marker and a can of compresed air, kinda works like an airbrush, works great great.Nice lookin frog you have there.
Foam is home
Great ideas, I enjoy your videos!
Thanks as always! Great stuff, keep it up!
Oh hell yes! I told her the new paper cutter was for the "family" :)
HAHAHA!! Atta boy!
I’m gonna go home and cut some fettuccine foam now!
Another great video
Thanks, Bill!
That's pretty cool I've never seen the fettuccine foam before can't wait to see what else can be done with it
Thank you, I think it would be a good bass fly.
Awesome as always man!!!
I learn so much from your videos! Thanks so much and as always, keep ‘em coming!
Thanks, Kim!
Great video man, I'm going to have to try the extended body fly.
I love that fettuccine foam! I had never seen that before.
Cool stuff!
I have so much foam, but needed more inspiration. Thanks! Other than extended body dries and beetles how else could you implement craft foam? Split wing with a bulbous head? I'm thinking mayfly.
I like that fettucini foam. Def going to play with it. Thanks
It's so good!
thanks for the great tips !
Good stuff in here! Keep it up!
Appreciate it!
Gotta love foam. But still struggle with the extended bodies.
