To stay warmer try a trick I used to use in my college camping days. Buy two STANLEY Thermos bottles (both small mouth with the smaller rubber tight inside lids). And buy two Hot Water Bottles (the old-style red rubber ones like nurses used. Boil enough water to fill up the STANLEY Thermos bottles full. Now when you're really cold fill ONE Red Hot Water Bottle with the boiled water and place in your sleeping bag or inside your pillow. Repeat hours later with the other Boiled water in the second Thermos. I hope this sounds right, I'm in a hurry to help hubby put together a late night dinner. They used to give us those meal pouches when I was in the army.. the all day breakfast one was so good beans hotdogs and little bits of egg so comforting
Covid is so annoying. We had that happen for Christmas when my wife’s grandma wasn’t doing well and we had to like wait till the last second to confirm we were negative for Covid and stuff. So frustrating
I also respect the no politics that is the worst part about this whole pandemic - much respect Becca
Also I have dairy allergies too and have to take lactaid pills to have e it. That helps!
Hand warmers on your back by the kidneys to warm your whole body. And maybe a remote starter on the truck. Warm it up without being near it. Or even in the back . So you have a nice warm spot when you get off the ice.
the back window doesn’t connection to the truck cap, sadly :/ BUT hand warmers sound awesome to put in the sleeping bag.

To stay warm try hand warmers in you pockets and in the bottom of your sleeping bag and maybe a quilt under your sleeping bag

I finally ( for the first time EVER) went to Sabastian Inlet and did some fishing last weekend. EPIC!! Caught my first Sheepshead. Have to say it was one of the best tasting fish I’ve ever had!! Can’t wait to go again!!

Exercise will keep your body temperature up as will digestion so keeping your body moving or eating a snack is a good idea. Another trick is to heat up a bottle of water and keep that near a major artery as your blood pumps you'll circulate the warmth through your whole body (you'll notice a lot of scantily clad female bartenders keeping a bottle of water in their armpit thats pretty much why).

I would try maybe lining the truck bed wit emergency blankets because they reflect body heat and should make it warmer

thank you for all your time and effort there #FishingWithaBecca and I don't know if you ever plan on traveling out of state or what not but I'd have to recommend hackberry bend campground and Beaver Oklahoma beautiful. If I remember right prices for 10 camping or truck camping is $15 RV or hookups depending on the years $25 $30 heated restrooms beautiful lake and on the other section of it you got yourself a picnic area a place to take ATVs, OTVs,four wheelers
that’s sweet! i’ve found a couple places like that over here but they are only seasonal and a lot of them stay closed for the entire winter. such a bummer!

Captain Crunch. Try Mr. Heater F215100 MH4B Little Buddy 3800-BTU Indoor Safe Propane Heater. Smaller then the one you bought and last around 5.5 hours on a 1 pound bottle. Works very well.

Get u some heaters and maybe get a plush blanket there warm and will keep u warm trust me or one that’s heats up type blanket
Pick you up some wool blankets get the best ones you can afford….even the cheaper ones work great the more expensive ones are a bit softer. Try it you won’t regret it

I just bought a -40 Marmot CWM and spent the night in -18 and it was TOASTY!!! Get a good bag :) or a nice diesel heater and heat your truck :)

Girl get an Ororo heated jacket. It is the BEST! I walk dogs in Northern Illinois. It was 3 degrees today and my jacket kept me toasty. So sorry about the COVID scare! I sure hope you feel better soon! Fingers crossed you don't get crazy sick! 🎣💪🏻

@@beccayaseen They definitely aren't cheap but I found it on Amazon and it was like $150. It's SO worth it though. I've walked dogs in sub zero for the last 15 years and this is my 2nd winter with this coat and don't know how I did it without! If you can, give it a try!

only tip i could share with staying warm is if you have to change your clothes which might help you out. Put your clothes in your sleeping bag with you. so your clothes are warm to change into. Hope that helps!

He is chef and I've cooked for over 7million people casino and game dinners but camping less is more, that's why called camping lol. But we had our great meals. Idk sry got excited lol. I think the reason why I ended up not getting it is because two days prior I got my booster. (which got me extremely sick) for some reason the booster had me extremely sick even more then my second shot! lol it was not fun
