Suppose I just have PO number? How can one identity if that PO was created by me21n or by bapi? At table level will be there any field to differentiate that?
    Thanks in advance

      Hi there,
That’s a great question, thank you!
You can check table EKKO and field STATU
Filter for “I” and you will find the ones created via BAPI :)

Hi there, thanks for this useful video. I have a question. I followed exactly the same steps and I see the PO number as soon as I commit (there are no error messages). However, when I search that number I don’t find that PO (I get a new number every time I try and looks like the process is working). I also checked in table EKKO and it doesn’t show that PO. Could you let me know what I’m doing wrong. If you can share your email I can send the screenshots.
    Thanks!

Thanks a lot for your question! Did you execute the commit bapi as shown in the video?
Like after executing the PO bapi, a number is already issued. But the database commit only happens after you execute the bapi transaction_commit..

@@SAP2Go thanks for your response. I rechecked and it was just a matter of time. Looks like when Commit BAPI shows the result 'WAIT' it means it is creating the PO. I rechecked today and the PO was actually created which is great :) I will also try the MIGO BAPI this week following your other video. I found both videos very helpful. Thanks!

Yes, that is also something I experienced in past! Happy that you liked the video. If you want to support me, you can also activate the bell to not miss anymore content (I saw that you already subscribed - thanks a lot for that!). More BAPI videos are planned for future. Despite that I have many videos on MM, FI, Fiori etc :)
