  • Are Parent's Choice diapers and wipes as good as Pampers? Is the cheaper price worth it? In December I did a holiday diaper review for the Parent's Choice brand. This is my update after using the normal Parent's Choice diapers and wipes for 3 months. I use BOTH Parent's Choice and Pampers.

    I have twins and i love parents choice diapers, they are soft and i have less leakage with them. I tried pampers baby dry and swaddlers(they also wore these in nicu) but i like parents choice better

    I love parents choice wipes we use the cotton water wipes that you order online. Ordered the size 4 diapers this month they didnt habe the strechy sides so had to return them got size 5 they had stretchy sides. We wont be using them again due to them not wicking away moisture. Our baby uses huggies overnights bc he is too sensitive to be left in a parents choice diaper. Wish i could just use them.

    Costco wipes all the way for me! I might try the Parents Choice diapers now though...

      Aw! I love that there's a cheap alternative that works good! And far as the wipes, I think they're the best!

    Love Parent's choice diapers! All 4 of my kids who were heavy wetters and NEVER had a leak even at night. Their training diapers are awesome too. They break down to .09 cents a diaper i dont know why people would pay triple that just to have name brand!

      We do bc parents choice stays wet after baby pees. My baby has sensitive skin. Some of us want to use them. I really do. Lucky ppl. Im using pc size 5 this month but have to use huggies overnights or son will get a rash due to being soaked. He sleeps for 10hrs sooo. Some of us dont just buy for name brand we buy what works. When your on a fixed income and not rich pc diapers is very economical.

      Also the box i have with tax came to 19.28 its size 5 108 count. That is 17 cents a diaper.

      Baby #5 is here! Hospital provides huggies snugglers and they work great but are expensive. I was gifted pampers swaddlers and they are soft and cute etc but leak for my son. I’ve tryed all diapers and yet again the parents choice seems to be most worth it. Huggies snug and dry seem to work for him oddly because they don’t have good reviews either. If money wasn’t an issue my baby would wear pampers cruisers😊

    My oldest was the same way if you don't change your child at all during the night and feed her a bottle every time she wakes up of course she's gonna leak just change her when she wakes up then give her a bottle

    • @lashonnabahr889
      @lashonnabahr889  Před 6 lety

      Brandee Boudreau she doesn't wake up for bottles during the night anymore, but she still leaks. She just drinks a lot during the day I guess! Thanks for the input.

    I hate to hear they leak I thought about trying them. Right now she's been using pamper pull up, we haven't had any issues with leaking.

    • @lashonnabahr889
      @lashonnabahr889  Před 5 lety

      Even though we change her frequently, Adalynn has leaked through every brand we've bought at one point or another, so I say go for it! You could just buy a small pack to see if they'd work for you!

    Try using parents choice overnight diapers. We use them with our daughter and they’ve worked so far

      I'll look for them! I haven't seen overnight Parent's Choice diapers when I've picked up diapers, but now that I know they're there I'll look harder! Thanks!

      I love Walmart pickup!! It's just weird that sometimes what you can order for pickup isn't in the store. I just ordered a diffuser that I've never seen in store! But maybe I overlooked the diapers! I'll check next time I'm there!

    • @lashonnabahr889
      @lashonnabahr889  Před 6 lety

      That would make sense. Did you used to work at Walmart?

    • @lashonnabahr889
      @lashonnabahr889  Před 6 lety

      That sounds like a good system! I should almost do that since the only card I have is Kohl's and I can't tell you the last time I shopped there! Well I appreciate the Walmart info!!

    • @lashonnabahr889
      @lashonnabahr889  Před 5 lety +1

      I can't say I have a favorite. I tried Huggies, Luvs, Pampers, and PC. I used Luvs for awhile, but switched between Pampers and PC the most.

    I us the Parents Choice pull-ups with Paw Patrol on them and I swear by them! I thought moving him up in a size would help, but I was wrong! I moved him down and he has made it without wetting the bed every night! He was wetting the bed every night with Huggies and Pampers!

    • @lashonnabahr889
      @lashonnabahr889  Před 6 lety

      Rebecca Madrigal I would have never thought to move down a size! I wonder why that's better? Do you think it was leaking out the sides because it was too baggy? I thought about that... Thanks for the tip!! 🙂

    Definitely not interested in telling you how to parent. But speaking from experience, my baby sister was drinking and drinking and drinking and drinking and peeing and peeing and peeing and peeing. Thirst never ever quenched. We took her to the doctor, she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 4. Just a cautionary tale 💜

    My boy’s last 4 or 5 poops have been blowouts as he’s pooping. Idk if I need to size up or what

      When I went up too big, I found it leaked more. Try the next size up, and you'll be able to tell pretty quickly if they are too big.

    Never ever has my baby leaked with Huggies or Pampers but in a Parents choice yes they have leaked but they work just not for all nights

    • @daphnietudor2953
      @daphnietudor2953 Před 5 lety

      Agreed and after the child wets the diaper isnt dry its soaked pampers baby dry are AMAZING!! Huggies are dry but take longer than pampers.

    • @daphnietudor2953
      @daphnietudor2953 Před 5 lety

      Huggies snug and dry are 22 cents a diaper and parents choice are 18 cents a diaper is size 4 soo id rather pay the .4 cents extra knowing baby is dry and not at risk for rashes
