Being a student of earth sciences i travelled a lot across the Pakistan for field works, believe me the road journey is full of adventure and fun. you enjoy beautiful landscape. you should land in islamabad and take NATCO bus. You will be travelling on Karakoram Highway (8th wonder of the world). It is almost 900 km long, it goes through highest mountain ranges of the world i.e Himalayas and Karakoram ranges. This road runs parallel to bluesh rivers, through beautiful lush green valleys. I am short of words

start with peshawar. there is direct flight from KL to peshwar nd then u cn visit KALaM and swat etc northern areas easily bcz they r near to peshawar around 3hrs drive, everythg is cheap nd economical here

Start with Islamabad from where you can easily go to KPK., Hilly areas of Punjab and Azad Kashmir. From here you can also take a flight to the Northern areas. Lahore is 4 hours drive from Islamabad. If you want to see snow fall come in January and February. March April is Spring with flowers and fragrance all around. May to September is summer with rainy season from Mid July to Mid August. October and November is Fall with moderate temperatures. You can now choose the months you want to come. You are most welcome to your brotherly country Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

You should start from aslambad. if you want to see real heavan on earth you must must visit northren part of pakistan speacially chitral. Kalam.sawat. sakardu. Deosai. And many more if you enjoy snow fall then come after middel of december i think december january is so cold but you will enjoy snowy weather.
