@@ruipereira9263 I have been playing NIKKE Goddess of Victory since December of 2022 guy. Just cause they state “demeanor of a child” doesn’t make her a literal child dude, have you forgotten she is also a sadist who loves to torture her opponents? Honestly the mental changes are founded she was shot in the head by the commander with a gun heavily inspired by a Walther PPQ .45 acp in that scene, a later scene shows what looks like a 1911. Anyway, even her “resurrection” isn’t going to restore her to the same as she was pre-incident, her human brain was damaged the one part of her that can’t be “replaced” or parted out, that damage is permanent. This is done as a subversion of her character Merian is Kind and Thoughtful she also had an intolerance to Injustice and Rudeness, meanwhile Modernia her memory was wiped due to “The Corruption” which is what made Modernia have the demeanor of a toddler, have trouble speaking which is why she says discount instead of encounter. Literally she has to learn how to speak and “redevelop” herself because her brain damage mixed with the strong memory wipe desecrated almost everything she remembers except her name and her commander. Merian/Modernia has sustained a severe TBI after being shot by the commander, in the real world we have observed people acting “childish” like emotional lability, angry outbursts, impulsive behaviors, lack of empathy (which could explain the sadism) after brain injuries and concussions. Over all she is just a well written character, goes to show shift up did their homework.
She isn’t a child no matter the logic you wield though so stop conflating the events and dialog to form a warped conclusion. Technically these cyborgs have no use for the human concept of time as long as their human brains aren’t destroyed and they are maintained their lifespan isn’t determined. I mean Liter partook in the construction of The Ark, which was about 100 hundred years prior to the events of the main story, yeah the one twitter likes calling a child is a minimum of 110 years old since the age bracket was set at 10-25 years of age I’m leaning towards older though. A 10 year old isn’t capable of that scale of architectural knowledge.
This argument is better used on Cocoa, Anne, Folkwang, Noah, Signal and Epinel. Hell Mica and Belorta died as children and after their deaths were turned into NIKKE. But after decades of existing without a true physical form, can they still be classified as children? The part that makes them, “them” is decades old? It’s believed that Rei was likely a 3rd grader prior to her NIKKE-fication based on speculation from Mariana’s story. Anyway the lost relic in the game says that all NIKKE are women between 10-25 years of age, that’s about all we know for the broad amount of these NIKKE some have stories for their NIKKE-fication and others don’t.
This is all we can speculate from what the game has given us, I hate to break it to you but none of this is a “smoking gun” to your “isn’t she a child” case though…
