I stopped using The Stag after this buff, you get 16% damage resist and can 2 burst tier 9 resil with syncopation

I was using Ballidorse last season with Glacier nades as a pseudo Void Titan (walls + overshield) and it worked for me surprisingly well. I still need to tinker with my version of this build but instead of frost shards I had been using a turret as a second half-teammate for solo queue. Was it optimal? No I was running it with a Glaive. Was it fun? Yeah, it was a fun option for Shadebinder over the typical Osmiomancy Coldsnap spam

Used Behemoth last week of trials with hoarfrost and the new pulse with slice and collective action.
From casting and breaking a single hoarfrost barricade, you get 10% dmg resist, do 10% more damage, and hitting an enemy causes them to do 15% less damage. Even with precision instrument, an igneous won’t even be able to kill even if they get the first shot at full damage.

Yeah, it sounds like he hasn't really unlocked the full potential of something like this and is focusing too hard on a single attack vector. Running something with Slice should have been obvious but he doesn't even mention it.

I haven’t touched em since they fixed shards giving you health. But they feel great. Love the glow you get when you have frost armor.
If you're using the stasis kit with shards, a stasis weapon with collective action might be worth looking into. Though, I don’t know how many good stasis options there are with collective.

What about combing this with a slice weapon? Both proc from the rift cast and I would think the DR+ the sever debuff surely has to help
I've used these since release and I found that I get the most out of the overshield when I play aggressive and try to use the rift to freeze, and then if I miss the freeze, the overshield will keep me alive long enough to win the fight.
Cammycakes, you need to try Tesselation on this build with duskfield for cooldown, build into frost armour and slow duration. People are really sleeping on how broken Tesselation is on Stasis, it has a huge AOE, team wipe, kill Wells and the slow effect on shuts down everything including Supers.it’s like shooting Fish in a barrel. I pair it with my God roll, fluted barrel, acc rounds, ele cap for 95 recoil and strafe, Headstone PSI Hermetic with the New Stasis Linear with Headstone chill clip max handling, the first 3 shots on body slow people 😂
TIL you can kill a bubble with Glacier grenade. I assume because of the Ballidorse though.
I have an adept prophet with kill clip and precision instrument. I don't think Ive played a single match where, I haven't gotten a double dink running kill clip (10 resil not always titans.)

16% dr (2%x8). Syncopation potential 2burst .6ttk, does against all resil except t-10, headseeker might change that

Ur better off using sanguine alchemy or mantle of battle harmony with Ros on a void build + empowering rift + void soul weakens debuff, onslaught x3 making Ros a .38 ttk

True, but it's not exactly an apple to apples comparison. Rift has a long cast animation and it casts on yourself. Renewal debuffs targets inside in addition to buffing the nade and the regular duskfield effects.

It's pretty cool but as you point out, stag does the same thing without the damage buff nor 3 fragments + 1 aspect combo
I mean if all you wanted to do was have the DR then yes it's comparable to Void Titan. But the thing is you're playing Stasis Warlock who has access to 2-3 easy ways to freeze opponents as well as stack this x3 in trials same as Void Titans. I think it's stupid to compare this to Void Titan and say "well they can put on a movement exotic and have the DR" like yeah, that's Titan this is warlock they both do different things and provide different benefits.

Yes. You have to use two abilities and if you shoot the second ability's crystals while you have the tectonic harvest icon up, you can only make 6 shards from a potential 9 or 10 or even 14 crystals.
8x frost armor for infinite duration + a bunch of leftover shards to heal with, yeah
@@life-destiny1196 no. There are no "leftover shards" when you shoot them and get blocked out of making said leftovers.
Still sad that frost armor is worse than woven mail in pve despite taking more time to stack it and struggling to keep it up

The hate against Sentinel seems so biased. I don't even use bastion but still...
6:35 Bastion did literally nothing not even a health bump. If it was your Shadebinder build you both would've been frozen
7:58 Sentinel player uses a SUPER. Then dies to a grenade that technically isn't meant to damage players on its own.
This is a 6v6 setting, so it's naturally less coordinated and competitive. You can run practically anything and it'll work. Nobody really groans at Bastion in 6v6.
It provides a number of potent benefits that are better realized in 3v3 gamemodes. Namely, in Bungie's need to make every round devolve into zone control, Barricade becomes extremely potent. Add onto that instant overshield for your entire team, and you practically own wherever you set up.
On top of that, Ward of Dawn is still the best zone control super, even more than Well of Radiance.
And even more so, in a coordinated setting, the benefits of having 40 extra hp are better realized. You can all push together into certain places, win your gunfights, etcetera. All from a Barricade.
That's not even to mention the insane utility Barricade naturally provides.

So, if you're in a coordinated team its good? You'd be surprised by how very many other things that applies to. Like radiant dodge, which has higher uptime. Or frost armor builds like Cammy points out in this vid.
Claiming its better for zone control then Well of Radiance is debatable. The Well certainly has the advantage in offense.
I also don't want to go through the list of insane utility provided by abilities in Destiny. Fair to say they all have perks. Radar manip, healing, freezing...
The real reason people groan about bastion is that it is a visible overshield. They don't groan about the other buffs because they are less visually apparent.

@@DustoVonSusto the correct term is "direct examples". Go ahead and watch it in slow motion. The guy doesn't even get a health bump in the Bastion example. And Cammy's grenade would have frozen him regardless after he popped his super.
There are many more examples of Cammy successfully challenging and beating Bubbles with basic abilities/weapons in his other vids. For the record.
