The joke when Bocchi tries to call an ambulance in the beginning, but gets a time announcement instead is this: The emergency number for fire and ambulance in Japan is 119, but 117 is a talking clock that gives you the exact time, so Bocchi was so freaked out about Hiroi collapsing that she accidentally dialed 117 instead of 119.
At least she didn't dial 110, or else she'd have to explain why she accidentally misdialed the police. 😂
Too funny when the crew thought she was lying about selling all the tickets and were just like "Let's be nice to her tomorrow" 😂

I think that the drinking age in Japan is 20, at least for the hard stuff. In some countries there is a distinction between distilled and non-distilled drinks which are allowed at different ages, but honestly I don't know if that's the case in Japan. Anyway, since Bocchi is still only 15 she's definitely not allowed to drink any kind of alcohol.

We put so much stock in what strangers say we're good at, while undervaluing the affirmations given by friends and family, while we take criticisms from friends and family to heart. Even those who can shrug off detractions from strangers shackle themselves to even the smallest critique from a family member, while outright ignoring that same family member's praise.

I just think this anime evolves too slowly .. some episodes feel .. irrelevant on the progression.
I disagree I think this is a near perfect 12 episode season.

I respectfully disagree. I don't know if you pay attention to the character development but I saw a character development in every episode. And it's not just bocchi that got it too. I obviously don't know what you hope for when you watch an anime but my suggestion is just enjoy it. If you get bored by it, there's nothing I can do.
@@lockman5196 It is not that Bocchi does not grow, it is that a lot int he episode does not seem to matter for the growth. Some episodes are great, some make me sleep.
@Tiago D'Agostini what episode that you felt irrelevant to the progression I wonder. Because most of them felt like important to the character from my prospective. Maybe because I already watched this anime on repeat.
@@tiagodagostini I feel like you're watching this for the wrong reasons, like you're constantly expecting some big dramatic moment for Bocchi to overcome her anxiety every episode, like something out of Love Live.
The main focus of the anime is the band, Bocchi just happens to be the one we follow the most.
