    Good review! Thanks. Great original design. This is no San Martin. I'm getting one! Dig the green.

    Great review. Lovely watch and a fantastic colour. Really like that green, suits the watch beautifully.

    It looks pretty good. I feel bad saying this but that dial with numerals makes it look like a spinnaker. Nothing against spinnaker, I just don’t love em. I’d rather dots or rectangular indices and a lower price. Size is perfect, especially if it wears like the sharkdiver 40. Great review!

    I agree with the point you made about not having to show the most expensive option. Manufacturers (of anything) tend to supply reviewers with top-of-the-range products, but those are not necessarily the ones that most people will purchase.

    definitely like this better than any other of their watches. but i think with their design language they're missing a nice opportunity here... the cheaper Royal Oak Offshore alternative the world has been waiting for! :D
    seriously, the very angular case design, coupled with a nice thick, sculpted fixed bezel on the outside and an inner rotating on the outside, with some cool applied indices, and the great texturing they do on the dials.. a winner, without looking like a cheap copycat! (the expedition was waaay too tame and meh)

    Nice review.
    I have one of the older Odyssey models, the White Storm. I do like it.
    This watch is nice but with everything else available, not something I would personally go for. Boldr has not released anything I really like since the Batman Globetrotter.

    Very nice watch. The green does look good but I think I would take the white dial over it. Thank you

    This is a great watch, definitely my sweet spot with the size, bummer this came out now after I already purchased 3 other watches from Boldr in the last 6months...

    Does remind me a little of the Tag Heuer Autavia 3-hander (smoked dial, date wheel position, arabics, oversize crown) which is not a bad thing. Pity they don't have a distributor in the EU.

    What do you think of the silver one?

    • @watchreport
      @watchreport  Před 3 lety

      I’ve not seen it in person. The silver bezel/white silver-ish dial is not my personal fav, but if you are looking for something with that clean monochromatic look, it’s a good piece.

    Great looking watch but i guess it shares pieces with zelos watches. The bezel is very likely the same

      Brushed ceramic inserts both watches, different colors of course , but same insert construct inside the bezel imho

    • @watchreport
      @watchreport  Před 3 lety +1

      @@jose867 it’s not. If it were the same, I would say it. I’ve reviewed it, and I honestly didn’t think you were talking bezel inserts but many do ceramic inserts and fully indexed ones as well, but the Zelos is very different with a 15 minute track line on the bezel and the dots and markers are different as well.

    Micro brands using another micro’s (Traska Freediver) naming.

    • @watchreport
      @watchreport  Před 3 lety

      I thought of that, but it’s the Odyssey Freediver- not just the Freediver. Lots of brands using the same names for brands or models. I leave that up to the brands to hash out-I’m sure both are aware of each other.

    if San Martin can make a nicer watch for less theres no reason this thing should be $600

    • @watchreport
      @watchreport  Před 3 lety +8

      Right? All microbrands should shut down and only San Martin shall exist. 🙄🙄🙄😉
