Wah, I've never seen a dance group so coordinated and share such wonderful views about life and the world. And who can tell such sweet delicate stories with the simplest things - light and darkness. :') Most modern dance groups are all about face and fancy acrobatics and sex appeal. But those have nothing against real art with substance. Which is what El Gamma Penumbra is all about. Ah, I swear I love them so much. Mabuhay El gamma at ang pinas!

I agree with you na maganda proudly pinoy ang dating but for Asia's Got Talent, I believe that the should tackle a theme that is more international in scale. Their performance should show something that is universally accepted and sensitive in scale and not like this one which is focused only on the Pinoy side. Remember it is an Asia's Got Talent competition and not a Pinoy Got Talent kaya dapat their performance should be somthing that will appeal to an international and asian audience and not just Pinoy. Mahirap na kung Pinoy lang ang theme kasi baka hindi maappreciate pa ng international audience.

They did what happened in their country. And in the finals they pay tribute to Great Britain. As long as they do it fluidly, they might win the finals.

These dudes were finalists in X-Factor Philippines in 2011 and was founded in 2008. I don't really think there is an essence that these groups copied one but rather shadow theatre has been relatively new but exists everywhere these past years. At least these guys make you feel rather proud to be Pinoy.
kamizerox very informative article. out of curiosity i searched youtube for similar performances in the past and came across several videos, one of which is silhouettes. and i guess you are right. the relevance of who copied who is no longer an issue as far as i am concerned. what matters is the performance of these guys in the agt gave me so much joy and pride.
