The manual CLEARLY says NOT to screw in the dipstick to take a measurement. This means that every time you are changing your oil, you are not adding enough oil to your motor! Also you said "specifically motorcycle oil" It is not necessary to use motorcycle oil because there is no wet clutch in the system. In fact its BETTER to use a good quality car-motor oil as it will prob contain friction modifiers and prolong engine life and performance.
