some kind people have helped me stay alive while i struggle for survival after theft of property, money, and vital records. food and money have been essential gifts that have kept me alive where i could have easily died from vulnerabilities in a dangerous environment, left to fend for myself with nothing to my name other than unhealed trauma and a LLC that is going nowhere due to corporate espionage and sabotage.

My grandma helped me, and she made a changed in my environment. My adjustment took a while as church came into my early life. Years later she was very emotional when I told her I was saved, but in tears when she witnessed my baptism. Today I take my knowledge and teach all children and young adult.

@jnhn9976 my grandma taught me about Jesus and God too, she was the most religious person I ever knew. She changed my life by taking my brother and I to her church as kids and teaching me the Lord’s Prayer.

YESSS!!!! The world is becoming so sour, and immoral, because people like us, (the majority) aren't telling our stories, speaking our beliefs, and standing for others like us! So I LOVE reading stuff like this!
I'm a recent (real) Christian now! Ive always thought I was, but I wasnt. I was growing, and learning. But wasn't living. Today I am. And I've failed at almost every step of life until the last few years. Now I've found my amazing bride! My insanely gratifying family, that I serve, that I love, and act with intention. And it's so rewarding I have no words! It's all due to my love, belief, and blessings from YAH and YESHUA!
I SEE NOW! That he gave us instruction. He gave us a route, and things to avoid. I just didn't listen till I was older. I had to learn that I failed on my own BECAUSE I was on my own. But I now succeed, due to his teachings, and his grace alone!
What a powerful place to be as a man! Where all my joy, and pride, and success is due to my savior, and the family he gave me! When before, I couldn't find happiness in relationships, couldn't be loyal, couldn't find peace there.
But now, it's all I have!!!

I was watching this video and during barely the very end my daughter calls me from life church to show me that my granddaughter, Mason Link was getting baptized. I jumped out of bed dressed ran to the car, drove to the church to get my testament, but church didn’t start a car pulls up. It’s my pastor. I told him I testament the Lord says come as you are I didn’t put no eyelashes. I didn’t brush my teeth nor deodorant, I just wanted to share my testimony about the things my granddaughters been going through the bullying to getting beat up at school she’s a cheerleader she’s a honors student and I told her people will come against you worse when you’re following Jesus, but you sound firm on your foundation his foundation

I was blessed to have come from a Christian household. I was in church from the age of 3 or 4. I was saved at the age of 5. I got baptized at the ages of 8 and 13. Dedicated at age 14. I was blessed to have faith believing parents. I get what Pastor Craig is saying.

I have a question? I am disabled. I can do most things on my own. But I asked my son Schuyler,when he had a chance if he would come over and replace 2 light bulbs. He came over this morning, shaking his head. I started crying.. He told me I make all my children feel guilty . This was over a month ago.
Is that what I am doing?
I'm not sure what all has happened in your family, but helping you when you need it should not make you feel guilty.
I had a family that split when I was 4, after a TBI subural hematoma. I had no Memory but Church and Jesus. My mother had custody. Sometimes she took us Sometimes and Sometimes she didn't. But never did I stop having my relationship with Jesus.
My family came to Life Church 7 years ago. We got plugged in and all my whole family serves each week and it has truly been life changing. My kids have been baptized there and we truly have become "fully devoted followers of Christ". Our lives are completely different and it's awesome to see my kids become fully devoted to following Christ in all capacities. Thank You Life Church for your commitment to Christ and serving your local communities. Well done!

This was an amazing message. As a 76-year-old grandmother, I trained my kids with these Godly principals. They didn't follow though in following Godly training for their children. I thank you for this message. May the young parents train the youth today to pick up their cross daily. Heb 11: 6 diligently seeking God.

I always thank God for my parents as they did all of this and more as a kid and I can say it does work. When I got into my teen years, I too feel with the wrong crowd which then in turn made me question my faith. But thanks to those roots, I never abonded God, on the contrary, when I had those doubts I seeked Him out even more which lead me to grow more and more in my faith. Don't doubt the small roots, because under the surface that are strong and will hold out against any storm.
This series is so helpful and a good reminder of how to instil a love of God our children and how to be a good model of faith. Thank you. Looking forward to the sermons that follow.

Can we please talk about what us parents who made a lot of mistakes & now have adult kids with all these issues. It’s great to do when they’re young but we need biblical help with the young adults to.

One thing that helps is to help them connect to a small group at church where they can make friends with other young adults they can relate to.

We adults aren't able to scroll through TikTok, news outlets, and social media without developing anxiety, not just our kiddos. We need to get back to our faith and give less energy on things that we can't control.

Do not be on it a lot. Get in God's Word instead. That is your choice to make.
I'm not a parent but this opened my mind for when I watch over my niece, which is something I do often, since my sister sometimes work and there's challenges or complications where I end up looking after her with my mother. It can be overwhelming, especially when you don't always know what to do when you are autistic and have Autism Spectrum Disorder, and I thought this video was pointless to me since I'm not a parent but I guess I was wrong. I'm watching her right now as we speak because my sister is at a hospital with her new baby, but sometimes I feel like I need a break, so right now my mom is entertaining her. :P Love her though.

This is so true! I am not a parent either, but it definitely still challenged me as I look at opportunities to pour myself into my nieces, nephews and great-nephews! Thanks for sharing your heart. God has put you in this unique situation for a good purpose. Although you may have your own challenges, I believe you can teach your niece so much about God and about you and how you see the world. ❤️

What about adult children who are still living with us?
@Wendy, I think these same principles apply. Love them, but don't enable them. Praise them for the hard work and effort they do, but don't overpraise so they feel entitled. Give them independence and freedom according to their maturity level. Setting boundaries and open, honest and if needed, firm communication is the key. As adults, I think you can definitely hold them to a higher standard that will motivate them to achieve.

Hate to say it but training a dog you reward them and scold them if they did something wrong. So just giving a kid a reward for something they natural do with no effort shows them having no effort is rewarded. So that will make them feel they will not put any effort into anything. Unfortunately you have to put effort to make money so you get rewarded when you work. But there is such thing called boost your morale where a reward can be used when that kid is feeling low.
God did not bless me or answer my prayers to have children, except to take my fetal son away from us at 20 weeks after years of infertility treatments.

I love life. church. the sermons have helped build my relationship with the Lord and a thirst for wanting to know more about the ministry he led and is still leading. I have looked everywhere: the Youversion app, google, and Christian websites and still can't find any topics on what I am looking for. Which I think would be a great topic for a sermon considering the number of adults moving back in with their parents because they can't afford to live on their own cause of the economy and safety. How can it work, and the parents not treat their adult children as if they are still little kids who have to do what they say because it's their house their rules. I mean I still have/want a life and want to honor my parents and the Lord, but don't know how. Sorry, this is lengthy, but I have had this question on my heart for many years and didn't get out much and just needed help. Thanks for reading, help would be much appreciated.
