This is the sound of the tractor that pulled a trailer filled with local volunteers selling coffee, donuts, and juice at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas. It was the only sound they needed to bring the folks out of their tents, RV’s and such to the road every morning. Some of them had been up all night playing, listening to music and laughing. It was almost like the walking dead. I attended this festival for over 30 years. The festival was “postponed” for 2020 due to the virus. This sound is as sweet to me as any of the music on the stage. It means Welcome to Winfield. Good morning. I’m here to bring you coffee, donuts, a smile and help my community. Yes, that’s an awful lot of words for a tractor, but I hear every syllable. I absolutely love it.

Apparently, you did not grow up on a farm or your grandparents did not have one. My grandpa had this exact same tractor! Anytime I get to hear one of these tractors run it takes me back to simpler times when I got to run this tractor I was only 11 years old at the time, but I was having the time of my life! If you think it’s annoying to listen to to the sound of the tractor that basically built America?then get lost! Do you think this is disturbing? I repeat, get lost! Nobody wants to hear your annoying opinion! Any of us who grew up with these tractors any of us who learn to drive on a tractor like this, will understand!
