Darce is so good with her hands. As an avid fisherman. You can tell she’s just a natural. Her hand movements are precise . She can bait a hook and get fish handled better than an great guide. I’d have her on a boat anytime!

Crabs are awsome tasting. I've learned more about crabs from the both of you. I use to have a friend years ago who's family moved not far from Chesapeake Bay, they let us ride their boat to this shore side fish market. They bought crabs for the grill. They were blue clawed crabs. Tasted great.
You guys are awesome! The tongs, and the claw removal is the best way to go!! I have spent a lot of bottom time with crabs, and they don't really use the claws to eat as much as to hold on to the food. I feed them all the time. PS you are basically farming crabs and if you want to take a claw next year help it grow back.
Looks like some of the trap's opening was muddy and dirty. The trap may be falling on its opening keeping the crabs from enterig. Make sure the rope is ties to the opening side. And check the traps often.
Sacrilege! You southerners don't know how to cook crab. Try steaming them next time, using a 3:1 mix of water to white vinegar. The same 7 minute time for cooking, but unlike boiling, all the flavors stay inside the crab instead of being leached into the water. The same goes for cooking vegetables, especially corn on the cob. The vegetables don't become soggy and all of the flavor remains inside.
I'm just curious, do you guys think your traps are getting robbed? After watching the way you bait your traps,and look at your yeild,it looks to me like someone has been helping themselves to your traps. KEEP THEM PEEPERS OPEN,YA NEVER KNOW! LOVE YOU GUYS. BEST OF LUCK!!

Maybe have the traps closer together, so the scent of them combined will attract more crabs.
Check your last video cabin the last trap had board out of side you filled and dropped it back in. I think that was the reason no crabs in trap.
