some parts of pos really in need of some major infrastructural wk from repaved roads new street signs str painting..getting the business community to rebuild their store fronts or simply tearing down some of those old old buildings.
Terrance Lynch Apart from the infrastructure that's countless decades overdue like water towers, the immigration & education systems need a major overhaul. Way too many illegal foreigners in that country that should've left decades ago. If we're not careful, these very foreigners will be acting like they own the country more than the locals themselves.
I live in Liverpool UK. One of me best friends is an 84 year old man from Port of Spain. It would mean the world to him if you could film the corner of Prince and Nelson street, where he grew up
I lived for a while on Pembroke Street across from Lord Harris Square before I finally moved to Diego Martin. I left TnT in 1973 and I have not been back there since 1986. I have no desire to return to the place of my birth because the entire country has deteriorated into a CRIME INFESTED, CORRUPT, TRASH FILLED HELLHOLE! I was born as an American citizen, but I never really knew it until I saw my first passport. I was a regular, poor ass, propagandized TnT boy who really believed that TnT was the best thing since bread came sliced until I saw how other people lived in the USA and across this planet - many of the countries that I have been Blessed to visit and a some of which I lived in or been deployed to while I was in the United States Army before I retired - for years at a time! I missed the country for a couple of years, but all of that nostalgia has long since disappeared and faded away once I had a chance to experience other countries, cultures and ways of life. The blinders were COMPLETELY REMOVED from my eyes, and I do not regret leaving TnT behind for one second! The place looks so run down and old and neglected and in a state of shambles. The roads are VERY NARROW as well. But I suppose that TnT people are used to that as a way of life. For me it is all just a distant, fading memory. But thank you for sharing your video. A little nostalgia never hurt anyone and it's nice to know what I left behind.
The only place that I recognized in the entire video was the Port Of Spain Jail at the very end which used to be called the Royal Gaol back in my day. I lived just down Pembroke Street from there although I never had any reason to see what it looked like from the inside. The big walls are still painted the same color though.

I love my homeland.

the streets don't look ghetto. i like the old fashion French houses. All you need is a fresh coat of paint and some updating.
The streets are clean. no trash.
No it's all in the ocean now😓🙁
