Once again I was moved to tears as I listened to your teaching on forgiveness. What an honor to even be mentioned during one of your messages. God has given me so many blessings - and you Pastor Paul and my friend in India - are two of them. God Bless you and your ministry always 🙏🏾

Wow, YES! I had to forgive those who have abused me in the past, but the Lord taught me forgiveness does NOT require reconciliation. So true! Thank you Pastor Paul. Your teaching's have been so helpful to me. God bless.

Thank you for sharing God’s message. Through this message, the Lord rebuked me and showed me how much of a sinner I am. There are things I have done in the past that’s still holding me in prison hence I am finding it difficult to forgive myself because there is no one to blame but me. I thank the Lord for bringing this to light; my deep rooted guilt, hurt, shame, resentment and bitterness which I denied for a long time. He brought it to light so I may repent, surrender and ask for forgiveness at the Lord’s feet. I wept and wept as these things were revealed to me. Please pray for me as I go through this season of my life and praise our heavenly Father for His grace, mercy and love that never fails.

You may have the liberty to do anything you want but you don't have the biblical liberty to cause someone to stumble.
You don't have a free pass to care.
    It takes love to care.

Thank you Pastor Paul. I think it is quite dangerous to think that in order to forgive someone you need to reconcile yourself with them. That is especially dangerous and unwise if that person is still doing what is wrong.

I had a strong urge to leave thistles video at minute 32. But then realized, "There must be something good coming that Satan doesn't want me to hear." And then the pastor gave the story of connecting the woman from California who was sex abused with the woman from India who was sex abused. And I thought, "Oh, my God. What a testimony!" Thank God I have learned to listen to Your voice when everything around me says not to. That's a prayer that I prayed and today it was answered. Thank you, God.

I have also been underlyingly keeping hatred in my heart, despite me saying that I forgive and will forgive as per the Lord's teaching. But now, I know that I try to take control, and I only have yet to lift it up to the Lord. GUIDE ME, O, LORD. AMEN!

This is such a great sermon and so well delivered. Only one comment to improve our preaching even more. Let's not hide our own weakness behind "you" statements. We all face this problem and have failed, so let's use "we" statements to include ourselves as fellow pilgrims. It's a basic lesson we should have all learned in beginning preaching classes, but so easily forgotten. Blessings!

Also God made it very clear in His word that when we repent then He will forgive us. He made it a requirement in the old testament and in the new. If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us of all unrighteousness. Repentance was preached in the old and new testament. But nobody seems to preach it in connection with forgiveness even though Jesus Himself spoke it in this passage. If He said it then it should be preached and obeyed as much as forgiveness

@johnc646 that's a good point. But I'm confused in that those who hurt us by their actions aren't asking for forgiveness, they don't see the wrong in their actions, yet we are told to forgive them regardless.
