@@yumjoystyle2I pay for Fight Pass and get almost every event where I live for free on TNT sports, streaming events illegally and advocating for fighter pay is not hypocritical.
When the UFC are increasing the price of PPVs almost yearly for some very poor quality cards, severely underpaying ranked/championship level fighters all the while making millions outside of PPVs alone... in fact I'd say in the modern era PPV buys aren't even close to what's making them the most amount of money, illegally streaming events is almost morally justified lol

(Part 1)You missed a couple points , stealing a product completely, then complaining fighters don't get as much as they "should" is hypocritical. OP is saying they *still* won't pay for the product even if it becomes more financially reasonable.
(Part 2)A company's losses will determine how they will factor in pay increases. That's the argument they *all* use, and it has legitimacy.
(Part 3)l stopped financially supporting them as l saw them charging more for everything as their profits increased, which l knew would happen with the new owners.
(Part 4)there was no need to bring in personal actions in this, but since _you_ did, I mentioned mine as well.
(Part 5)I've said some of the lower fighters should get a slight bump, but not just because you're in the UFC now.
(Part 6)as far as "ranked championship levels" most of those get what they get because of what they bring in. This is not football or basketball(the common argument) so it's based on what the INDIVIDUAL does, _not_ a whole team. Most champions and headliners don't complain about their pay, it's usually just the ones that don't know how to manage money, and say they're underpaid. Can't get too specific about that though haha
(Part 7)That last part I kinda agree with you though, and that's why they're forced to consider this option yet again.

Subscription based model is the way to help lower pirating losses. It's like how Spotify revolutionized the music world and convinced ppl to pay when music sales dropped due to pirating sites. Give a catalogue of material that provides value and ppl will pay a monthly subscription compared to a one-and-done PPV payment.

It's not gonna happen. UFC would have to take a big hit to do this. No streaming company is going to pay UFC the equevelant of what they are getting (like 60 per viewer).. and turn around and only charge 30 per viewer. If there wasn't a PPV every month, it might make more sense.. because they would bring in that UFC fan's monthly fee without giving him a PPV for that month... But there "IS" a PPV every month-- meaning that they never actually get to gain from the long term customer. They will be taking a loss hit every time a PPV comes out. It's just not a good model, it's not going to work.. Granted the fact that it is cheaper, will bring in more buyers. But I still say it's not enough. If this would work- then UFC could just make PPV's $30 themselves and make more revenue from increased buyers. But they know it wouldn't work... and it's not going to work for the streamers either. Don't count on this ever happening
