Nice info you gave us there mate! Thanks for sharing it!
Absolutely, glad you found it helpful! Thanks so much for the comment 🙏🌴🤙
This was so informative, interesting, and FUN- to watch! I think I know exactly how to plan our trip to the Cook Islands because of your information provided in this terrific video. Thank you so much!
Hey thank you so much!! I am happy to hear this video can help you plan your trip. Aitutaki sure is spectacular, hope you have a great time! I appreciate the comment! 🙏🤙🌴☀️
Subscribed, very nice quality video and beautiful images . having been there I know it's all real:). Have been to Aitutaki in 2007 and 2010. stayed a total of 1 month between stays. It's my favorite place on earth so far and my fav beach/place on the island was Honeymoon Island . i took another boat called Kia orana cruise, small boat too, we had grilled fish lunch and fruits on Honeymoon island, i think that you probably had lunch in front at motu maina but I'm not sure.. Aitutaki is an amazing place also for the atmosphere that you breathe. first time i was there I rented a bicycle, second time a car, an old jeep at the time they charged me only 15 NZD $ per day directly from the bungalow place I was renting
Hey there thank you so much! I'm sure some think this video is totally edited, but as you know it really looks like that lol. Honeymoon Island was also one of my favorites, I would love to go back again and spend the day there. We had lunch om the motu right next to it. Such an amazing beautiful island for sure and I'll definitely visit again! Probably the most beautiful island I've been to actually. Thanks for sharing your experience and comment! 🙏🤙🌴☀️
Hey man, great video thanks! I would really appreciate it if you would have time to answer a few questions I have. Going for a honeymoon next year!
1. Which was your favourite place to stay? Do the areas in Aitutaki differ much?
2. What would you recommend as a schedule for 10 days in Cook Islands? Is 3-5 nights in Aitutaki too much? Is a week on Rarotonga too much?
3. What would you say a good budget for Cook Islands in general would be for 10 days? If not the absolute luxurious options but something a bit more ’nice’ for the honeymoon?
Hey there, congratulations on your wedding! Cook Islands would be an amazing place for a honeymoon for sure! My personal favorite place we stayed was Tamanu Beach Resort although I would also recommend staying at the Private Island Resort Aitutaki if you don't mind staying in a couple different accommodations. If your budget allows I'd recommend the Pacific Resort where we spent much of our time. We were lucky enough to stay 1 week on Aitutaki and thought it was plenty of time although you can get away with 5 days or so. And 7 days in Raro. We came from the US and flew Hawaiian and they only had flights once per week. 1 week would be too short in my opinion but doable. Prices overall were pretty reasonable coming from the US. I'd say the budget would depend on your accommodation choices, tours, restaurants and drink choices but overall not bad. 7 days in Raro was great as well since there was so much to see. Anyway hope this helps. Sorry for the delayed response we are in the Caribbean currently. Thanks for the comment and hope you have a fantastic honeymoon in the Cook Islands 🤙🌴☀️
🤩🤩🤩
Bro I just subscribed, headed there June ,,,,, great video
Hey thank you so much for subscribing and for the nice comment! I am happy the video helped. I am excited for you, paradise for sure! Have a blast! 🌴☀️
New subscriber here. I really appreciate this info as we will be there this June I was wondering about day passes good job.
🙏🤙🌴☀️
Amazing place, and great job man. What month was this? and what was your flight path to get there ? Thank YOU!
Hey man thanks so much! 🙏 We were there mid to late September and it was gorgeous! A bit windy at times but overall perfect! If you are coming from the US the best and cheapest way to get there is via Hawaiian Airlines out of Honolulu. From Honolulu it was about a 6 hour 25 minute flight. Pretty easy overall depending on where you're coming from. I totally appreciate the comment! Hope you make it there! ☀️🌴🤙
Great video about the Cook Islands...this video was much needed ... there is not much info online about the South Pacific ...
You read my thoughts. That's my dream destination and it's rare to find nice videos about. I guess it's because it's too far away and expensive, not many people can afford going there and consequently posting videos about the place.
Hey thanks so much! Much easier to get there from the US now that Hawaiian is flying there. It's far but totally worth it. As for prices, you can find some budget accommodations, and food and drinks are reasonable if you come from the US. Hope you make it there some day, its incredible! Totally appreciate your comments! 🙏🤙
How was the wifi at the first accommodation
It worked great in the rooms and lobby/ pool but was a bit spotty or non-existent on the rest of the island. But there are a few hot spots and worked good overall.
Did you guys hire a car or taxi while changing the resort and airbnb frequently?
Hey there, most accommodations we stayed at arranged transportation for us for no additional charge. It's a small island and the people were friendly and accommodating. We paid a small fee to the airport but can't remember how much, it wasn't expensive. But to get around the island, I'd suggest renting a car and definitely recommend getting out on a boat!
Great to know. Can not wait my holiday in 2weeks😊
@mayainnewzealand3791 Super cool! It really looks like it does in the video only better in person of course lol. Hope you have a great time in paradise!
What do you reccomend? Aututaki or rotoronga?
And what monht didi you go there?
Good question! I'd definitely recommend visiting both if you can. Rarotonga is bigger and has more going on. There are more options for restaurants, markets and accommodations. Aitutaki on the other hand is one of the most beautiful islands I've ever been to, it was smaller, felt untouched and was much quieter. Many people just go for a day trip but if you can stay for at least a few days and get out on a boat, you wouldn't regret it. Honestly can't go wrong however either way. Hope this helps!
Oh and we visited mid September
Loved the video. Question. How's the food price over there?
Hey there thanks so much! 🙏 We found both food and drinks reasonable even at the resorts, especially if you're visiting from the US. Of course, there are some fine dining options that can be more pricey and a few local options. There is definitely something for all budgets, and I would highly suggest renting a car or scooter to access some great restaurants. Hope you make it there its amazing, thanks for the comment!
Thanks for the advice. So coming from the US, when renting a car, do we need an international driver's license?
Hey i wanna go there in cook island but tell me is it easy to get a job to do there?
Haha I wish I knew. I believe you have to obtain a work permit as a foreigner, but I'm not sure about the details. It's amazing there and I hope you make it regardless! 🤙☀️🌴
Is that a robot or a human narrating this video?
Ouch! Yeah I'll do better next time. Appreciate the feedback though! 🙏
I think you did great! U get the permanent info in clearly and quickly and then let the viewer enjoy the wonderfully shot and edited footage with the perfect music for these posts! I'm sure that guy was totally joking around...it's great man!
@coffeephish I appreciate your kind words and comment 🙏 Glad you enjoyed the video, it's such a beautiful destination!! 🤙
Hahahahahaha agree with the robot narrating comment, i was at times wondering if you were doing a paid vlog from the resorts and tours, good for you if you were, but at the same time, it was good and to the point, very informative .Must have been tough doing it on such a tight budget haha staying at all the cheepest seedyest dives , haha joke .@@matthewkingtravels nice video , enjoyed it .
@gregorythompson6521 Thanks man I appreciate it lol! Not a paid vlog and my voice over could definitely be reworked, but glad you found it informative otherwise. Appreciate the comment and feedback! 👊🤙
Why should I trust somebody who has nothing but praise? I travel the world all the time, and I see lots of problems.
It's up to you who you trust and how you view the world but for me nothing but praise for the island of Aitutaki. A lot of problems in the world for sure though, I just choose not to focus on them. Thanks for the comment!
