Jackson Browne and Billy Strings perform "Running on Empty" at "Toward The Fun(ds): A Concert Benefitting Camp Winnarainbow," at the Herbst Theatre, in San Francisco. On September 29th, Steve Earle hosted an intimate songwriters circle, inviting Emmylou Harris, the Mastersons, and musical guests Jackson Browne, Billy Strings, and Elvis Costello to gather in support of Camp Winnarainbow-a circus & performing arts haven for young people, founded in 1975 by Hippie icons Wavy Gravy and Jahanara Romney. IMHO, Billy would do well to learn the song first. Then his generic pentatanic jam would fit the song better
