Atte Backman Every artist gets rejected though. You can bet your ass Tristam & Pegboard Nerds, two of the biggest names on the label, have been rejected countless times as well. Protostar also doesn't really make dubstep. He's a neuro producer for the most part. Most of his stuff has a lot of neuro elements, and while sometimes it's labeled glitch, sometimes dubstep, it's typically some form of neuro.

Monstercat finally gave us what we wanted. It's been over a year since glitch hop released on Monstercat from once again to inertia. I wouldn't mind more of this. Sadly, protostar only released one song.

What an unbelievably unbelievable return for Protostar!!!! My god, this is probably the best glitch hop song or even song on 022, and one of the best glitch hop songs Monstercat have put out. The intro has a really mysterious feeling to it and just sounds really good, and the drop is really good too. I wouldn't say it's a heavy and brutal drop, but it's definitely got an aggressive feeling to it. Some parts of the intro and drop definitely give me the chills too. A really, really good return for Protostar. I wish he releases more soon.
F.O.O.L DUBSTEP!!! It seems like he/she/they listened to my prayers! On my review of Knight I said he'd/she'd/they'd do good with dubstep. I really wanna see what comes out. :)

That was Distorted Reality. Fairytaler can easily be recognized as Dubstep because of the rhythm (you'll see what I mean soon).

This track makes me excited to be alive. I dont know how else to compliment it. That guitar rift is perfectly tuned and time with everything going on. This song is energy, and I may be addicted. Been so long since I was as impulsive as I feel. Gonna need to get this behind the decks and experiment soon.

Well you can hear Bounty hunter on podcast 53 so I'm happy I'll get to hear a 3rd song from Knight EP
Fairytaler was an exception. It is extremely unique in terms of style, but the thing is, that we haven't had a dubstep release for a quarter of the entire year, which is a bad sign, so it is just reasonable to have it.
I myself liked Fairytaler and Bounty Hunter the most, as those had extensive detail, Knight was a Trone VIP, while Distorted Reality sounded like a 70/110 BPM drumstep.
