Sapang Bato Trail: A well-known light trail in Pampanga, Sapang Bato is a vast land filled with rocks and "lahar". Stock rigs (lifts or suspension modifications and mud tires are not necessary) are capable of completing this trail and it is a great place to practice with your 4x4 given the wide area.
This trail is also perfect for learning how to drive on rough roads at high speeds but you may need to shift at 4L at certain portions. At the end of the trail is a spring which you can relax in (and also set up camp). There is however, a section where rigs usually get bogged in (which may need to be recovered by another rig via a winch or a friendly tug with a tow strap). Although there's a chance of rigs needing recovery, this trail gets an EASY rating because a rig which is able to pass through the problem section without getting stuck, won't encounter any problematic obstacles afterwards.
