why couldn't Ton o' rot be crafted like this, it's just as much a capital itself? I've dreamed in past eras or bygone times only three times during my life, and each of the trio had taken place at SPELLBINDING Winnipeg set in the 1920s or 1930s -- its characteristically cosmopolitan flavour is so magnetic on me, and so the snapshots featured in this moody slideshow here are sublimely superb 🍸🍸🍸

Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada actually translates to Muddy Waters, Where the spirit lives, The great north. I've been to all of these locations by now

Great selection of photos & not just core area buildings. I had to laugh at the shot of City Hall... It's rare to see it without a 'construction shed' over the sidewalk!

4:27 I live a block from that place. It recently got bought, and is being massively renovated on.
Winnipeg is such a nice city...I haven't been back since 1985. I heard stories people who left city due to bad reputation. I'm sure it make up from past to better place to live in, which still is. As video and music gives a story to tell..I recognized few places back then. Keep up good faith Winnipeg. I'll be back one day.

That is Thelmo Mansions. I lived there for a brief time in 1979. It wasn't a really bad place then. Mostly old people living there. Bed rolled out of the wall on wheels. Biggest issue I had with the place was the lack of parking. There was a small lot just south of the bldg. and the waiting list was forever. I rented a space from the Shell gas station on Ellice and Arlington. When I lived there it wasn't the rats nest it had become in more recent years.
