I find it absolutely ridiculous and cruel that they just ditched Emma Furhamm as Cassie Lang and replaced her with Kathryn Newton without even telling her. We didn’t even get an explanation for the recast. I can only assume, as usual in Hollywood, they just wanted a big name actor for the role
