It's about time to let the voters decide, not some politician with their own agenda. I don't smoke, but I believe that it's up to the individual to decide. It's the same with abortion - it's called freedom from government interference in your personal life.

I don't understand the term "adult" in these cases. According to the constitution, one is considered an adult at age 18. But more and more, laws are crafted to restrict right of legal adults for an additional 3 years. If one is considered adult enough to be drafted and killed in service for one's country then that person deserves ALL of the rights and privileges of any adult citizen of that nation. Plain and simple. Why is it okay for a 19 year old solder to be put in harms way with fully automatic weapons, but they cannot enjoy a simple beer after a hard deployment. Our law makers are completely effed up.

In Missouri none of these reefer madness issues happened. Weed doesn't impair you like that where you're vision gets affected or coordination gets weird that is alcohol.

Legal pot caused a billion more dollars in my state of Missouri and caused alot of bad roads to finally be fixed & other things to be fixed or built. Clown comment, reminder it's 2024 not 1954.

      Very well thank you.
And once we vote to tie the hands of the legislature on marijuana and abortion, we can then comfortably elect Pro 2A republicans without fear that they will also enact socially conservative legislation (like abortion or weed bans).

@johncrawford6322 I am a person that you do not know. That was a knee-jerk reaction to my opinion. I am not fighting Disney or being eaten by gators or having mass shootings, I am happy a kid would read a book, not burn them or ban. Your rights are compromised by a little man under the thumb of a smaller man who dictates.

One lady put it pretty succinctly with a bumper sticker which read: "Every baby, a wanted baby."
It was reminiscent of another time and a most civilized country whose attitude could have been: "Every Jew, a wanted Jew."
