In the wild macaques aren’t weaned until around 8 or 9 months of age. In captivity, artificial weaning when the infant has been separated from the birth mother, the time should be increased to at least 10 months.

I’m not sure why this mom is trying to introduce solids so early, let alone with a spoon? If she wants the extra nutrition she could have just put some puréed potato mixed with the formula in the baby’s bottle. The baby is adorable💖💖💖
I did read that in the wild they will introduce solid food as early as two weeks but as you say, don't fully wean them until 6/7 months.

This baby is so jittery, then just collapses, and has trouble holding its head up. The other family wasn’t able to give baby a good start at life. I think she was trying to supplement milk with food to give the precious one more strength.

I saw in another post where someone said that Lil fur passed away, doe anyone know it this is true?? I think they should feed him with milk in a syringe because he doesn't suck the bottle well. When the lady that had him gave him away to Judy family, he was undernourished when Judy's mom got him. He needs milk every 2 hours around the clock.
