Turbo cider and tropical stout from M Lonsdale 🍻

Mathew Lonsdale sent me a turbo cider and a fruity stout. I’ve never had a turbo cider will I like it ?

Glad you enjoyed both brews,i think its pineapple juice and apple thats supposed to give off the sick taste haha,ill be making another turbo cider,not something I often drink tbh but enjoy one every now and again. It was the tropical stout one of the last two bottle's,was a big grain bill but dont think there was enough hops in there to give it that real fruity kick,we'll definitely meet again and I'll make sure i have a mix of different brews for next time.

I brewed a tropical stout once for an experiment. By only mashing the chocolate and roasted barely for 15 minutes and using 15% flaked oats my result was very much like the beer you are describing. Cheers 😀 👍 🍺

I did that when I finally realised how to brew a black IPA. If I ever really figured it out 🤪mashed the dark grains in last 10 minutes. At a French centre parcs at the moment and some really interesting beers in the shop 👍🏼🍻

Rick if you aint got a demijohn then you could buy a 5ltr bottle of water and turn it into a demijohn yourself 👍nice one to Matt 🍻

Matt seems like such a cool guy. I haven't had much cider in my time, but I'd definitely give that turbo cider a taste, and would probably enjoy it quite well. I'd never even heard of turbo cider until watching What's Brewing UK's channel years ago. The tropical stout looks & sounds amazing as well, especially now that it's got some age on it. A bit strong in abv% (7.6%) for my normal drinking, but I'll bet it's still a fantastic sipper. Great reviews of both beverages. Cheers Rick! 🍺🍻

That turbo cider was really refreshing and I always love a stout. I think I’m going to give a turbo cider a go for summer ( if we get one here in the UK 😂) it can be hit and miss. Cheers for watching and commenting 👍🍻
