Years ago I got given a VHS video of the main news events from the year I was born. It included the Hungarian uprising and Grace Kelly's wedding to Prince Ranier of Monaco. We in the UK don't often see the IRA in our crosswords as t has a different meaning here.
Accord is the only car model occurring in the UK so by not using hints I just had some odd words to find.
American grey squirrels have devastated our native red ones.
I thought of black ball ( to ban someone from a club) , golden ball and odd ball - that went nowhere. Dove isn't chocolate in the UK - it's sold as Galaxy so this was tough. We have assembly halls in schools not auditoria.
