- I understand that these Amazon bands are both thicker, and a wider taper. This isn't really a fair test.
However, this does show that "feel" isn't always real. NUMBERS DONT LIE!!

I had to go do a little chrony testing of my own. I shot .45 BSB with a 18-10 taper and a 6 inch draw and got a high of 314fps and a low of 307. This band set put 1/4 inch steel through both sides of a Campbells soup can last night. A 12-10 taper shot bbs at 331fps. I also shot a 22-14 taper with 8mm and 1/4 inch both around 300fps but with a 7 inch band so I think that my elongation factor needs to be about 7. I almost did not believe that you could put 1/4 steel through both sides of a soup can. I love these bands.
Interesting result, I do love the draw feel on BSB bands though! I remember you've done a latex test of all popular bands in the past and GZK orange outperformed most (If I recall correctly). Have you since discovered any new latex that beats that? Keep up the awesome work! Cheers!
