- As we enjoyed the South of Rivendell mountain-side filming location, I thought it would be the perfect place to share my newest collectible - made by the incredible folks at @wetaworkshopnz ! This is a mini-length unboxing as we were quite tight on time, but look for more collectibles vids in the future!

We never 'see it' but watching Gwaihir land in Rivendell with Gandalf must have been a sight.
U could easily have an AI art program make it. And it could look MONSTEROUS!!! It will take a lot of work. Some attempts will be hilarious... but eventually, the AI could pull it off.

ive always been a huge fan of lord of rings but since watching these videos im thinking of becoming more of a serious collector and start reading the books again and studying all the books and lore, lord of the rings is an extremely spiritual story for me its not just a fantasy trilogy it goes much deeper

So much feelings of nestolgia seeing you in these locations, especially at a time when the Amazon crew moved production outside of the country. I'm so glad for you. I can only hope New Zealand will be able to draw the same attention it first got with the Peter Jackson films like old times.

Hello , i enjoy your channel and have a request for a video series. Im listening to the simarillion audiobook and its confusing with names, times places etc. I am a casual fan but am becoming more and more into the entire works.
Can you do an explanation and overview of the silmarillion series chapter by chapter and how it ties into later works (including rings of power* or rather what should be happening in rings of power) i really enjoy the way you do your videos.

Do you think the name Gwaihir might have something to do with Arabic word “jawāhir” (جواهر), itself coming from the Persian “gawhar” (گوهر) meaning “jewel”? That’s how I read it first (I should probably mention I’m only an Iranian guy here with very limited knowledge of either etymology or Arabic 😅)
