1/2 cup milk
2 1/4 tsp yeast
2 TBSP sugar
3 1/4 cups flour
2 TBSP powdered milk
1 tsp salt
4 TBSP butter
Topping
5 TBSP rice flour
4 tbsp + more as needed Water
1 TBSP vegetable oil
1 TBSP sugar
1/4 tsp yeast
pinch salt

I have been making bread for 50 years and didn’t know that the salt killed yeast. Learned something new today.😃
It doesn't, salt killing yeast is a myth. In order to kill yeast with salt you'd have to try very hard, and simply letting the two dry ingredients touch won't do anything at all.
as a full bred dutch man, i can say, succes ! we call this bread tijgerbrood (tiger bread)

Im making them now. What I did notice in your presentation, you show the rolls on a plate but you dont show them close up, cut into them or anything as most bread recipe people show. We shall see how they come out...🤔and you need recipes that you can print, not pay for a download..
