- In this new game, the third in the Mario Maker series, players can create the Super Mario courses of their dreams in 3D for the first time! Players can now access even more tools, items and features, including new game styles never before seen in Mario Maker such as Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario Sunshine, Bowser's Fury, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario 64, and more! Super Mario Maker 3 will hopefully launch someday on the next Nintendo Switch 2 console!

I'm worried that Nintendo would think it would be too complicated for young children to make levels in a 3d format, but hopefully they will find a simple and effective way to do this, because I want it so bad!

It kinda is, a hack ROM called "Mario builder 64" was released, but it's a little complicated to play, you should search how to download it on CZcams before Nintendo realizes

Even if it wont come out that actually looks like a Mario maker game.
I think both makers and player would get overwhelmed at having that many game styles, that's if the team could actually make that much content. (3D World in Maker 2 was threadbare compared to the other Styles, to the point they slapped an "Extra" label on the only new game theme.) Trying to keep 3D Land, 3D World, and Bowser's Fury straight sounds like a headache.

This was the best concept that i ever seen, i love Super Mario Maker and, was the most genial concept i ever seen.

This is really well put together, but I doubt we’d be able to make some of the complex levels in this video
I would pay $100 for a Mario Maker 3 game with both 2D and 3D and all the features shown in this trailer. I would play that game so much.
Making a 3D game editor for a Nintendo Switch would be hard tho. Not only because of the controls needed to make the camera movement similar to a game engine's, but also requires modeling in 3D from the users. Nintendo is likely to think it would be too hard for users, so a different approach could be making an editor similar to the map maker from SMM2, but it still has the problem of alignment of objects since each one has different spaces and making a 3D grid is harder as they have another dimension, I don't know if you get me.
They could do something similar to what they do in Game Builder Garage, where you press a button in the editor to go from side editing view to top-down and vice versa.
@@pixelgaming7261 GBG doesn't have the best level editor but yeah, it could work. Still the result would be very basic.
