Ellie Kemper Remembers Emotional 'Office' Finale | TODAY Original - Zábava
Erin was the only one who saw Michael as a father figure
Abu Abdullah Muhammad Ibn Battuta no but that’s what Michael wanted all along
Michael also saw her as a daughter and did not unnecessarily make sexual comments to her like he did to Pam
In some way, also applicable with Dwight.
@Andrew Smith Theres his nephew wich he spanks in season 7
@Andrew Smith He was deserted i think
“You left me in charge of the pens Pam. That’s what happened.”
Leilani McConnell
You forgot the end💚
The pens happened”
Idk why every actor from the Office feels like a more mature version of their character.
Because this show ended 8 years ago? Ellie was 11 years younger when she joined the show.
German Carranza minus angela lol
Seeing the guy who plays Kevin speak coherently is hilarious. And Stanley’s voice is much higher which threw me off. Obviously I didn’t think he was gonna be the exact same but it was still surprising.
Who else remembers her real name is Kelly?
RandomlyInaccurate in the show her first name is Kelley, and Erin is her middle name but she decides to go by her middle name
@@giadap9501 because of Kelly Kippur
@@giadap9501 I believe it was Charles minor that decided she would be called Erin as too avoid any confusion with Kelly Kapoor.
Kelly Kapoors middle name is Rajani gandha
@@eliantrejo8746 I thought Rajani Ganda was a boys name?
She’s so smiley even when not acting
I've seen her in videos just being herself with other actors and she is a lot like her character
It’s called playing yourself
Probably why she got the role, also her joke delivery is great
she’s adorable
Erin is a character that I felt like she was present in the early seasons.
I agree. She was one of the later addition characters but she still feels like a core character to the show
As opposed to Andy about whom I'm always surprised off that he joined in S03
Cause she's a lot like Michael Scott
El Ha I thought Andy was hilarious after he joined, after therapy not before
Atred
Me me big disagree
Her comedic timing is perfect. And her facial reactions and mannerisms when others are talking is priceless.
Did u watch the unbreakable kimmy Schmidt? She’s amazing in it❤️❤️
db I triedddd to get into it, but I couldn’t. But i love her so much that I wanted to love it
One thing I didn't like with the show is how they butchered Andy and Erin's relationship. All that buildup and they just end their relationship like that in the final season.
hate how they made andy. like..why
Yeah, that actually hurt
same about andy but she went better with pete
@@dottiedidit She is probably better with Pete but she and Andy were cute and they were building it up since season five. Only to end like that in season nine.
I didn’t mind them breaking up, but Andy should have married his fiancée. It would have been more relatable. I remember how it felt when my ex-boyfriend got married. I was the one that broke it off and I was happy for him, but I was weirdly jealous. It would have been nice to see her go through that and move on.
When Erin tried to flirt with the random guy and touched his knee was hilarious.😂 “Hey big guy, do you like it when I do that?” It was so surprising to me it made it extra funny
@Nas Pi bet so too red heads be kinky and crusty
She said big boy lol
She’s like Micheals daughter
She even get a little bit jealous of Holly. When she met Holly for the first time she kept commenting how unattractive Holly was and how it would be a mistake for Michael to end up with her haha Just like when the kid knows their step dad/mom for the first time
Go to your room young lady
You are.
That's what she is supposed to be like, the office is just too perfect.
Same personality, same IQ level (I'm sure), same charm, etc. I see it.
my favorite Erin moment is when they are having the glee viewing party and Erin asks Michael what she thinks of Gabe and Michael says he's not her father and then realizes how that hurt her and then acts like her dad. I loved that scene so much
I must admit, I hated Erin when she first appeared but as her character developed I grew to like her. I agree with your comment. I loved their relationship, Michael was a father figure she never had and I think Erin helped fulfill Michael's desire to be loved and have children. My favorite scene was when she met her parents. I tear up EVERY time I see that. It was such a nice way to end her arc. And it was so perfect too, naive as ever, she couldn't put two and two together but that's Erin. The attention to detail is what makes this show so great and a joy to watch again and again.
KKKKKKKKKKK "I'll raise the roof"
Erin was a perfect 40/40. Personality, humor, ears - she had it all!
abe minecraft ears? Wtf?
E9SkillZz that’s how Erin rates people
I understood that reference!
The ending for Erin was terrific. I just wanted something good to happen for her and finding her parents was great.
i loved the ending for her even tho it made me cry so hard lolll
Joan Cusack as her mother made my entire life.
"I got 2! I ate 2 whole apples!" That's Erin's best quote.
I really liked what she did with the disposable camera and boiling gatorade 😆
@Lorenzo Nivellini the old lady she was helping wanted tea, and Erin just boiled gatorade.
@@rupertmurdoch4750 WHAT
She fit in perfect with the show. Unfortunately the characters that came in after her weren't that great.
Edit: Nate was actually really good lol
Malie who was nate again?
Zubas007 the guy in the warehouse and Dwights friend I guess
@@xTheParadox99 the bald white guy that worked in the warehouse... he showed up in like s7 and he made random appearances. He applied for the manager position and interviewed.
She was the reason why I never finished the office. I have seen season 1-4 about 4 times tho
@@JerryDaBes what why not? Shes funny
It is a healing show....when I struggle with depression, anxiety, fear, stress and even actual illness The Office will be on in my home....💝 My daughters, turn the office on when they want to watch something before bed.💖 We all have our favorite moments from the show. The Office is Our family get together on the couch, laugh, and relax show. 💝
Ellie was absolutely perfect for this role.
She is definitely right about it being a healing show. I didn't watch it in its original run (I had seen the back end of a season one episode and thought "this isn't for me"), but years later, my cat had died and I was by myself for the weekend, and a marathon came on. I ended up watching four or five episodes in a row and I was hooked.
I love Ellie's facial expressions when she speaks.
She's so adorable!! And so gorgeous.. I love how she's always smiling during the interview. Hands down one of my favorites from the show.
This character captured the spirit of a dog in human form. I loved how Erin was always smiling and happy to be a part of anything at any time.
"Why do you care? I'm not your father."
😩 That's the moment he became her father
Imagine going to visit your friend and this is their mom.
Connection Lost wtf are you even talking about
Im smashing
She'd probably ask why I'm hanging out with her teenage kid since I'm 36
The Office is a Healing Show
EXACTLY.
Her and Ed helms felt like they were there for the whole run. They are such important and core characters
Only OGs remember when Erin was called Kelly
Or anyone who bothered to watch the Charles Miner arc. Idris Elba is a good actor because I hated Charles more than anything on The Office, including Todd Packer.
@Chad Mower I thought Rajineeghanda is a boys name?
yes charles? you wanted me?
Tara S. I thought Nellie was pretty funny tbh
Erin was one of the few things that improved in the later seasons
Erin: I didn’t know we had a Tape Measure?
Dwight: WE don’t 😂😂😂😂😂
D.K.S.
She's really good at delivering jokes man. She was super subtle, you honestly never knew what was coming out of her mouth.
Disposable camera scene is EPIC!!!
How?
Lmao your name
@@runner05 she takes pictures with it then throws it away
The episode where she was trying to shave Michael’s face is one of my favs. Hilarious! She asked him to close his mouth so she could shave his lips. 🤣🤣🤣
It’s always weird for me hearing actors talk about their characters as... characters lol.
@AbSaw I'm not exactly sure what you want then. You want them to be in character 100% of the time they're talking about it? Or just don't talk about it when asked in an interview specifically about it?
Jack Sam yea that didn’t make sense to me either.
@AbSaw but they aren't talking about themselves, they are talking about the roles they played
Dang that was a good interview. Her answers were really well thought out. You can tell she was a true fan before, during and after. I like her even more now. Hope to see her in more things.
Flo- Pride she went to Princeton!
did she almost tear up when she said the line, MY HAIR WAS MY ROOM? looked like she did. Sometimes when i watch the earlier episodes that she is not in, i forget that she wasn't in them yet...she fit so perfectly with the cast when she came on.
Love Erin !! Her energy her dancing She was one of my favorites amongst many. I’d definitely be yours if you wanted, truly a healing show. I was going through my divorce after 15 years and watched entire 9 seasons and it got me through so much hard lonely nights, I know I’m pathetic, but I’m so grateful for the show. Still single js and happier with
One of my favorite lines of Erin is when the entire office is playing the quiet game where Kevin breaks the silence and then Erin is bleeding and says “Does anybody have a first aid kit” 😂
That shy little laugh at 6:57 just melted my heart 😍😍😍
Her dancing in front of the homeless tents will always be iconic
My favorite Erin moment was how she reacted when Jim faked his murder in the hotel. Her reaction is in the thumbnail, so I don't think I'm the only one who thinks so.
My favorite scene is where Andy and Dwight are competing for Erin by singing Take Me Home, Country Roads, and end up getting along in a duet lol
My favorite Erin bit was her totally not "getting" Holly and thinking Michael was too good for Holly.
She's also the only one that shared Michael's need for the office to be a family, showing that aspect of him to be circumstantially positive.
Sucks they ruined Andy’s character but at least we got another Hang Over Movie
Yes everyone Hang Over 2 sucked
Right?
Andy was trash from the first instant
and that's... a good thing??
I didn't like Andy's character throughout to be honest. Found him annoying.
Michael leaving stitched up the writers.
Ka1ne true
She’s just amazing. Thank you!
She looks so different when she isnt smiling
Its so weird hearing her talk as herself, she's so smart in comparison to Erin, who's nothing short of a toothbrush which Erin doesn't even own. Same way I feel about Kevin, his actor sounds so different.
I agree with her so much. I started watching the office two months after my dad passed away from brain cancer and it brought light into my life, it made me smile and it became my favorite show :)
This show has been helping me through very tough times and I love it
I didn't realize how many years ago Office was aired. She looked like 18 to 20 year girl and now she's grown woman... I liked Erin more :-D
Uhh she was 27 when she was first casted on.
Yup and she's 40 now born in 1980
"Um, everyone was getting their driver's license" that line always kills me 😂
I started watching all the office around 2015. I never watched it came on Netflix I watched it. After a horrible break up in years of domestic verbal and emotional abuse. It was my healing definitely what she is saying I still watch it because it makes me feel so good and it reminds me of a process that I went through and how strong I am and how laughter is truly the best medicine.
She’s so adorable. Especially in the light makeup they used on the show
“Disposal cameras are fun, although it does seem wasteful, and you never get to see your pictures. If it’s an important event that you want to remember I recommend using a real camera.”
I like when she brings Robert California cold coffee because she asked if he wanted a cold beverage and Robert said coffee.
I love Erin! Was one of my favorite characters on the show 🥰
Erin and Michael were the best duo
Erin played her character extremely well!
When she learned dothracky or whatever it's called was awesome. Such fun💗
Exactly like her character. And I mean that as a compliment. ❤️
This video just made my day go immensely!
My Favorite line that Erin ever said when she was talking about hiring a new person and taking out an insurance poilcy. LoL
Drop dead gorgeous
Yep
I loved her character
Her smile is so warm and genuine.
"It's a healing show." That is a very astute observation.
I really don't like how Erin and Andy didn't end up together, kinda made me feel bad for Andy
Jac Mill but Andy was kinda selfish in the end though. He just left her hanging and didn’t really care about her
Crab legs yeah I feel like that was a bad move by the writers, they developed their relationship for like 3 seasons then just ruined Andy as a character. Idk just didn’t like watching it
IKR. They did my boy Andy dirty in season 9.
yeah The Hangover is to blame for that one
@@jacobhiller8621 i completeely agree. I actually liked the character developement that Andy got and than in 1 episode all want to crap. Did not like that
I relate to her character the most
Loved her perspective as a fan and a part of it
Her reaction to Dwight becoming manager is the funniest thing ever
Let’s not forget that moment when Andy and Erin pronounced Saber’s name "Sabray” LOL
One of my life crushes. What a smile.
Such a smart and warm person...
She's a genius and the best character after Steve Carrell left
even better than dwight?
Bean Dealer Dwight got kinda annoying after ngl
Izzy what is ngl?
Zubas007 Not gonna lie
Dwight’s the best character
Erin was my most favourite later additions to the show.
i love her🥺
Hands down in my top 3 fav characters
Her mannerisms are the same as when she plays erin I love it.
Erin was always so cute!
She's great 😍 , it's definitely a healing show ,gets thru some tough times.
Love the show and is my company when i get home from work 💓
She has the best smile in Hollywood, change my mind
Love me some Erin Hannon
Erin was one of my favorite characters. She was such an angel🥰❤️
Ellie did a wonderful job as Erin. She was one of my favorite characters to watch. Not just because Ellie is absolutely beautiful.
Erin was a happy go lucky girl in the series. She was quite fun.
Erin was the prettiest character on the show
I always watch the show after I get my abdominal migraines and it makes me feel so much better 💗
I adore her!!
She is even more beautiful.
And 40!
Carolyn Miller have you seen the the pictures her college classmate took of Ellie in 2000 and then 2017? Google Ellie Kemper 2000
Is “jlp” a word?
I jlp you!
Ellie is one of my favorite characters i love her
I so love Ellie Kemper
She looks so different now
I see the opposite. She's barely aged at all. She's just wearing more makeup lol
@@RuneTrips And a lot of it. I don't think she needs it tbh.
@@Tristan1886 she's just getting gussied up for the interview. You can imagine this is still a special occasion for her. She's very down to earth.
@@RuneTrips Yeah she's still as cute as ever.
Even with an awful amount of bad makeup on... still super hot
I love Pete and Erin’s chemistry and I wish she talked about that
Olivia Garza nobody liked that
Yeah, they did Andy dirty
Cookie Boy i liked it bc it made sense they were both young unlike andy
I mean I wasn't too bothered about it. But it just felt like a wasted effort from Andy's p.o.v
Tbh I love the office but after micheal left it went downhill slightly
Screw plop
She seems just as pure as her character ❤
I always did love her smile/teeth
it would be great to see her in Brooklyn Nine Nine.
‘I was reading the mattress tag, but then I fell asleep’
She’s so beautiful and dorky I love her.
Ellie you were such a great addition to the cast!!!!
