You're very right, and now hawk players can finally stop being passive, since now they do more damage. And I love how they kept the shitty guard because it's basically balanced
Now hawk is like a better version then trickster, meaning, strong m1s but weak block and obviously massive counter damage.

Tips for fighting hawk: try to pressure their guard, it’s easy if you hit the combo starter and don’t mix in m2 unless their guard is broken

Why people are fearing of using m2 while fighting hawk? Its not like they're gonna pd every m2 you're throwing

@@stoopidFelix well technically correct, but if your punch miss there will be around half a second delay leaving them to possibly attack, m2 are usually slow so hawk user would dodge it more times than not and them getting pd is als very likely.

Im happy to see hawk actually being viable now even tho before it was good but holy shit the matches used to take too long and it was boring not being able to break block but now even got buffed the main thing is still the countering and pds so not broken but its definitely better now
