God has no sons. The meaning of the term “Son of God” in the Old and New Testament.
In the Bible, the term “Son of God” means a righteous servant of God. It does not mean literally divine son of God. The Oxford Dictionary of the Jewish Religion confirms that in Jewish idiom “Son of God” is clearly metaphorical.
In previous Scriptures, pious believers were called “sons of God.” It was not only Jesus who was “son of God” in the bible; other Prophets were also called “son of God.” For example:
David: Psalm 2:7. I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
Solomon: 2 Samuel 7:13-14. He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.
I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:
Adam: Luke 3:38. Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.
God has no real son. Jesus, David, Solomon, etc. were only close servants of God

I'm Christian ad refute the trinity. In facts the true trinity is anu enki and enlil, therefore pagan deities destroyed by the time by the commandments of Allah the Greatest. History as it is taught is meaningless. Mesopotamian civilizations are present in Christian culture. But not in the Christian protofaith. In fact Allah is unique. I follow Islam as a Christian. People were just writing about Jesus what they heard about Jesus. The authors of the gospels never claimed that they were witnesses. They never claim who they are. And they never claim any divine inspiration.

I'm not trying to justify not saying "PBUH" after mentioning Jesus's name, I'm just saying it comes easier to say "Alayhi Salam" when mentioning Jesus's name in Arabic.

The pure Deism of the first Christians . . . was changed, by the Church of Rome, into the incomprehensible dogma of the trinity. All the Prophets were Muslims who submitted to the will of God:
Qur’an 22:78. And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah named you “Muslims” before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people.
    Abraham:
Qur’an 3:67. Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was one inclining toward truth, a Muslim [submitting to Allah]. And he was not of the polytheists.
    Jacob and his sons:
Qur’an 2:132-133. 132. And Abraham instructed his sons [to do the same] and [so did] Jacob, [saying], “O my sons, indeed Allah has chosen for you this religion, so do not die except while you are Muslims.”
    133. Or were you witnesses when death approached Jacob, when he said to his sons, “What will you worship after me?” They said, “We will worship your God and the God of your fathers, Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac - one God. And we are Muslims [in submission] to Him.”
Joseph: Qur’an 21:101. My Lord, You have given me [something] of sovereignty and taught me of the interpretation of dreams. Creator of the heavens and earth, You are my protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Cause me to die a Muslim and join me with the righteous.”
    Disicples were Muslims too.
Qur’an 3:52. But when Jesus felt [persistence in] disbelief from them, he said, “Who are my supporters for [the cause of] Allah?” The disciples said,” We are supporters for Allah. We have believed in Allah and testify that we are Muslims [submitting to Him].
Qur’an 5:111. And [remember] when I inspired to the disciples, “Believe in Me and in My messenger Jesus.” They said, “We have believed, so bear witness that indeed we are Muslims [in submission to Allah].”

Pslam 41:2.The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

    Dear Christians
Did you know that early Muslim scholars wrote some of the original texts of the gospel? Especially those texts that explicitly mention Prophet Muhammad's name.
    For instance
A Muslim scholar named Ali ibn Sahl Rabban al-Tabari, (783 - 858) wrote 2 books
1- al-dīn wa-l-dawla (The Book of Religion and Empire)
2- al-Radd 'alā l-Nasārā (The Refutation of the Christians)
Where he mentioned all the verses that mentioned Prophet Mohammed's name explicitly.
The amazing thing is that those verses of the gospels were around until the 1850s
In the copy of the Bible printed in London in the year 1848, and the other printed in Beirut in the year 1884, and other older copies
You will easily find in the Book of Habakkuk the Text in the utmost frankness and clarity:
(The heavens have been illuminated by the splendor of Muhammad, and the earth has been filled with his praise... Your rebuke in the rivers, and the ferocity of your voice. In the seas, O Muhammad, the mountains saw you and were terrified).
Nowadays, this verse does not mention Prophet Muhammad at all.
This is only one example; there are many others where Prophet Muhammad's name was written explicitly and deleted later on.

If person is guided directly by god then he is a prophet like Moses, Abraham, Jacob and all other prophets were peace be upon them all. I'm born muslim and don't know everything about christianity, but the apostols who claimed to be divinely inspired/guided by holy spirit are the false prophets about whom maybe Jesus warned his early followers. For real, imagine hudnreds of people at once being truly guided. Why god sent only one prophet before but after Jesus he started guiding hundreds of "Christians". Moreover how did they prove it? Just claimed that they saw Jesus in their dream and people believed them or what?

The Judas death stories are different in the gospels, Jesus resurrection reappearance and location (Jerusalem or Galilee) are different, Paul says he saw Jesus in Heavenly/light body but gospels say it was a literal body resurrection, One gospel has Simon of Cyrene help carry the cross while others leave out Simon and say Jesus carried his own cross, Psuedo Mark says he rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, Psuedo Matthew says he rode in on two donkeys, Psuedo Mark has Jesus denying he is God, Psuedo Matthew edits Mark ,the earlier gospel, because he needs Jesus to look divine, One Gospel has Jesus saying not a Jot or tittle of the Mosaic Law shall vanish until the heavens and the earth vanish, other gospels and PAUL say the law is over, in Psuedo Mark Rich man asks Jesus how to inherit eternal life, Jesus says follow the law/commandments, Paul says the law is a curse and Jesus lifted it, James calls it the law of liberty, Paul says faith alone not deeds are the way to eternal life, James says faith without good deeds is not faith, James is the brother of Jesus by the way and the head of the Jerusalem Church for around thirty years, and Paul lambasts him and Peter and the Jerusalem Church in the book of Galatians.
Sure, the apostles or psuedo apostles are all guided by the same holy spirit but their stories don't match.
But if God can be man and man can be God and Holy Spirit at the same time with a Mother of God in Mary, then I suppose the gospel stories not matching are the least examples of a creed and tradition without logic
Peace and Blessings be Upon Jesus the Mesiah, Son of Mary, Peace and Blessings Be Upon her
Allah says in the Quran: We fling (send down) the truth (this Qur’ân) against the falsehood (disbelief), so it destroys it, and behold, it (falsehood) is vanished. And woe to you for that (lie) which you ascribe (to Allâh by uttering that Allâh has a wife and a son).

“The Holy Spirit” is found in many places in the Hebrew Bible as well as in the Quran as “ruhul Quddus.” It simply means “knowledge, wisdom, and understanding” and unfortunately was misunderstood by early gentile Christians to be a literal person. The misguided Christian scholars reasoned that the coming “comforter” being alluded to by Jesus in John 14, 15, and 16 was speaking about “The Holy Spirit,” but in fact it is Jesus Christ referring to the risen version of himself.
P.S. the Council of Nicea didn’t establish “God = a Trinity.” Instead that was the “Council of Constantinople.” The Council of Nicea sought to clarify the meaning of Jesus Christ’s divinity and his relationship to God, etc…

    1. Matthew 24:36
No one knows about that day or hour, not even the Son, but the Father only.
Here Jesus makes a distinction between what he knows and what the Father knows. He had no knowledge about the last day but only the father.
    2. Matthew 26:39
My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me, yet not as I will, but as Thou will.
Jesus’ will is likewise autonomous from God’s Will. Jesus is seeking acquiescence to God’s will. Again proving he was a muslim.
    3. John 5:26
For as the Father has life in Himself, so he has granted the Son to have life in himself.
Jesus received his life from God. God received his life from no one. He is eternally self-existent. The father had life in himself however the son was granted his life thus proving they weren't the same.
    4. John 5:30
By myself, I can do nothing: I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who has sent me.
Jesus says, “by myself, I can do nothing.” This indicates that Jesus is relying upon his own relationship with God. He is not trying to “please myself” but rather is seeking to “please the one who sent me.” again the same quotation which proves he was a muslim.
    5. John 5:19
The Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees the Father doing, because whatever the Father does, the Son does also.
Jesus declares that he is following a pattern laid down by God. He is expressing obedience to God.
    6. Mark 10:18
Why do you call me good? No one is good, exceptGod alone.
Here Jesus emphatically makes a distinction between himself and God. Let alone god, he didn't want to be called good. He said only the father is good.
    7. John 14:28
The Father is greater than I.
This is another strong statement that makes a distinction between Jesus and God.
    8. Matthew 6:9
Our Father, which art in Heaven.
He didn’t pray, Our Father, which art standing right here!” and he said ‘our’ father which means that the people and Jesus had the same father who was god.
    9. Matthew 27:46
My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Inconceivable if he is God the Creator.
    10. John 17:21-23
. . .that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. . ..that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me.
In this prayer Jesus defines the term “to be one.” It is clearly accomplished through the relationship of two autonomous beings. Christian believers are to model their relationship (to become one) after the relationship of God and Christ (as God and Christ are one). Notice that “to be one” does not mean to be “one and the same.”
    11. 1 Corinthians 15:27-28
For he "has put everything under his feet." Now when it says that "everything" has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all.
Paul declares that God put everything under Christ, except God himself. Instead God rules all things through Christ. (remember: “through him all things were made.”)
    12. Hebrews 1:3
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being.
Jesus is the exact representation of his being. I send my representative to Congress. He is not me, myself. He is my representative.
    13. Hebrews 4:15 (compared with James 1:13)
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are-yet without sin.
Jesus has been tempted in every way, just as we are, yet he never sinned. See
James 1:13: When tempted, no one should say, God is tempting me. For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt.
Jesus was tempted in every way, but God cannot be tempted. This is why Jesus said, “don’t call me good, none are good, only God.”
    14. Hebrews 5:7-9
During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him
    Another strong statement:
    John 20:17
Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
This is probably the strongest statement in the bible to support my view. Here he says the people and him have the same father and that he is both the people's and Jesus's god.
    Mark 12:29
'Hear o Israel, the lord, our god, the lord is one.’
The use of the word ‘our' here indicates that he had a god because the word our includes himself.

    Qur'an challenge:
[2 : 23] And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down [i.e., the Qur’ān] upon Our Servant [i.e., Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ)], then produce a sūrah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses [i.e., supporters] other than Allāh, if you should be truthful.

    saudara..
kita harus tau semenjak nabi muhammada diutus maka semua yg beriman kpdnya adalah umat nabi muhammad (s.a w).
walau kita percaya kpd semua nabi dan utusan Allaah tp hanya nabi muhammad (s.a.w) sebagai nabi kita.
karenanya kita semua umat islam ini disebut ummatnya nabi muhammad (s.a.w).
jd walau kita percaya dg semua nabi dan utusan Allaah (s.w.t) tp kita bukanlsh ummatnya mereka melainkan kita semua yg percaya dg nabi muhammad (s.a.w) adalah ummatnya nabi muhammad (s.a.w) dan bukan ummatnya nabi lain (peace be upon them all)

If they were guided by the holy spirit why is the gospel a lot of contradicition?

  • @jesus_isamuslim

☝️Christians believe that the holy spirit only guides them and that they are free to do whatever they want, so how do we know that the writers of the gospels did not make mistakes in their writing, e.g. Paul preached the "Gospel of Grace," which was specially revealed to him and focuses on salvation through faith in Jesus sacrifice. On the other hand, the "Gospel of the Kingdom" relates to Peter and the other apostles, emphasizing the coming of God's kingdom and repentance.
