    Walking five blocks?? I was lucky to walk two blocks - I only had 25% blood flow to my right leg. Don't wait like I did - get it looked at by a vascular doctor!

    saturated fats are good for the arteries starch and sugar vegetable oils are the problem.

      They gave me one of the "statin" drugs along with one called "cilostazol". Exercise + walking daily has been a boon to my progress.

    My mom she is 80 and diagnosed with mild plaque in lower extremities, could she treated with oral medication or need angioplasty with mild plaque please ?
