Coyote in suburban backyard

- This young coyote has been visiting our yard in San Mateo, CA regularly to eat pears that have fallen from our tree. There's a creek running through the back so it's easy for the coyote to travel back and forth. The neighborhood cats stay far away when he's visiting and the small dogs next door stay close to the house. The video was taken from an upstairs window of our house.

That's their job. They are supposed to hunt. They are predators.
I am sure you eat turkeys to on Thanksgiving.
If they did not keep the deer and turkey population under control disease and famine would run wild and you would have no more deer or turkeys to admire.
Remember these guys got to eat. It is a very hard life for them. So you should be happy that they are able to enjoy a meal that they worked very hard for. Not like they have a grocery store they can buy it all
