1988-1989 European Cup: AC Milan All Goals (Road to Victory)

All the goals scored by AC Milan, winner of the 1988/89 European Cup. Milan won the trophy overcoming Vitosha Sofia, Red Star Belgrade, Werder Bremen, Real Madrid and Steaua Bucharest. That team was coached by Arrigo Sacchi. Marco Van Basten was the team and the tournament topscorer, with 10 goals.

It’s the best header I’ve seen, he actually jumps backwards to get that power behind it , Van Basten was as accurate and powerful with his right & left feet , bicycle kicks, headers , the greatest player in the world from 88-93 tragic he finished at 28 and missed 94,98 world cups, 96, 2000 euro’s im sure he’d still have been in Dutch squad at 35 anyway if fully fit.

I still cant forget Red Star - Milan second leg in Belgrade. Milan was on their knees, Savicevic scored for 1-0, Milans game was completely falling apart, and then biggest fog in history of Belgrade weather came down and match had to be stopped in 64-th minute. One day later, third match was played and it was 1-1, and Milan went through on penalties.

Steaua Bucharest in preseason won a friendly against AC Milan 0-1 played in Italy ; AC Milan after the match against Red Star Belgrade they played a different kind of football ; they've outmatched my team Steaua Bucharest you can see in background Steaua players knowed to be fair play ; this mtf from UEFA destroyed the game with their Champions League champions my ass it about money ; they've ruined the notion European Champions Cup and made a huge gap between teams from the west and those from east ; Red Star Belgrade ,Steaua Bucharest etc. were destroyed after 1990. This was the final when the teams with money will take over the sport .Players from Steaua after 1990 they fled almost everyone in west for the money and the west teams took them almost for free ; i wonder at prices today how much worth my team back then ; Steaua after the win of the European Champions Cup in 1986 played also until 1989 ; those years were the best years of Steaua Bucharest ; now this bastards from uefa is trying to make even difficult to play in their shitty money league ; in 10-15 years people will lose their passion for this game ; there are already many sick and tired to see Barcelona Real Madrid Bayern Manchester City PSG teams dopped with money ; there are to many matches involved in gambling and the people spend their money like fools .
