The 3 things I like about this fifth wheel toy hauler:
1the kitchen, especially the amount of counter space there is compared to most other fifth wheel toy haulers
    2. the garage area
    3. no carpet on the sofa slide
The 3 things I don't like about this fifth wheel toy hauler:
    1. the latch to keep the entry door open
    2. the dump station placement
    3. TV placement

3: Lots of storage in the bedroom
    3 Dislikes:

@12:08 you said the weight capacity is 1,000lbs. Capacity for what? It can't be for the cargo in the garage. My Polaris RZR weighs over 1,500lbs.

Hello, wow!! I have way more than 3 likes!! Now this is awesome for big families. I love the garage, the sink, the stove, oven. Love all the storage, island is very nice, love the layout. Only thing this beauty needs is a half bath. Still not a deal breaker though. Great review Matt and Will!!👍👍❤❤

I was really pushing my husband away from getting a toy hauler for our next RV because of the size of the garages and that I didn't want to be "cramped in" like I am now with a bunkhouse that doesn't have slides in the bunkroom. That area would be my office and work area, but at 18', that really opens the space, even with the additional 1/2 bath. This has definitely gone to the top of my list and hopefully, by the time we are ready for a new one in a couple of years, then there will be a good used one available for us.

This is a great toy hauler. I love how the beds are set up in garage and all the windows. I personally like the extra bathroom and if you fill that many beds you would need it. I like the north and south bed orientation. I like the windows in the kitchen area and the RV refrigerator. I love the awnings. My dislikes the sewer dump placement. The tv placement, and I really can't think of anything else, except maybe the length which I know to have that you need that length but when I had a 42 ft it was sometimes hard to find a place to park and forget about National parks and a lot of state parks. I will keep harping please show these with the slides in!

    Another good review, thanks guys!
One thing I'd like to see that I don't think has ever been done before is a Class C RV "toy hauler" with just enough space in the back to store a motorcycle sideways.
Have a rear section "cap" lift up on hydraulics, ride the bike up a slide-out steel ramp and park so it's perpendicular to the rest of the coach, strap it down, lower the rear cap section to hide/secure it from view.
    Get all Batman with it!

Likes 1. Love the 17.5 tires, can’t have too much weight capacity in wheels and tires. 2. The residential size stove 3. Hydraulic assisted steps. Dislikes 1. Overall floor plan doesn’t work for me 2. No residential refrigerator 3. Waste tank hookups in a odd position.
If I’m buying a toy hauler I want the regular momentum.

  • @coachtalk1

Three things I don’t like....the location of the pulls to dump the tanks-as a disabled person no way I could get to those, such a small bathroom for the ability to sleep a large number of people and at that price it should have a washer and dryer in it. Three things I like...big sofa, lots of room-someone could make the toy hauler part into an office/workroom to be able to full time and the two awning outside.

  • @michiganprospector8209

Love it when they beef up the suspension. Love it when they put pump and fuel fill behind a locked door. Best garage set up ever. Would want the half bath though. Wah Wah - too heavy for my SRW 3500.

Hi Matt! I totally agree with you and Will about not liking toy-haulers.... the interiors have always just let me cold...nothing pretty, just bland, “functional” amenities, colors, and fabrics. However, this one was really NICE! You don’t even know it’s a hauler until you go back there! Everything is fresh and new looking, as-if it were just a travel trailer or standard fifth wheel. Very nice!

Pretty sure that’s a gasoline generator, not an LP generator. (The option on the GD site is for a gasoline Cummins Onan generator, and other YT’ers who pull Momentum’s have gasoline generators.)
Not sure where the 1000 lb garage cargo capacity comes from. The trailer has a 5,000 lb cargo carrying capacity, and advertised tie down hooks with 2500 lb limits. Hard to imagine those numbers with a 1000 lb limit.

If the unit’s dry weight is 15,528 lbs and it has a GVWR of 20,000 lbs then simple arithmetic says that it should be capable of carrying 4,472 lbs. So either they have the carrying capacity wrong or the manufacturer is way too conservative on its weight ratings.

That was an awesome 5th wheel to review! Thank you sooo much Matt and Will! I have always wondered if a full bath is possible in the garage area for this people hauler? 1000 lbs of toys isn't very much allowance. Touring motorcycles are around 850-900 lbs for one. Bathroom... okay, bedroom... okay to good, kitchen... good, garage ... great! Main entry door...eh, TV in the garage...ooops, not there. And need the full body paint! Have a great evening...keep the big reviews coming!!! Thank you very much!

The weight capacity has to be much more than the 1000 lbs you showed. A single SXS weights 1500 or more. The difference between the dry weight of 15,300 and max weight of 20,000 should allow for a minimum of 2500 for toys

My main problem, and it took me a while to find it, as it's not on the site, is that despite the garage, it only has a ~2800 lb weight limit for that huge garage. (~3600 lbs total cargo capacity) They need to beef it up so you can fit a small car in there as well as a washer and dryer and not overload everything. 18 feet even with "toys" in it could easily go over 2000 lbs ( two RZRs ). And people WILL load it up even more than that.
I find it a little frustrating that even in the owner's manual, they don't list the ramp weight limit or the rear cargo capacity. You would think this is must-know information!

While I love the looks of this trailer, once you get past the bling, you have to ask yourself, what in the world is the MFG thinking when they offer an 18' garage unit with ONLY 4300 cargo carrying capacity (CCC)???
    Lets do some basic math......
Think about who is buying this style trailer.....typically people with big cars like a Pro R4/Turbo R4/Can Am Max with an average weight of around 2200 lbs. Forget about putting a Jeep or similar....not a chance. 4300 (CCC)-2200 (avg 4 seat UTV) = 2100lb
    So now you have 2100 lb of cargo left to add....oh but wait, won't you need fuel and water?? Water 155G x 8.3 = 1287, Fuel 60G x 7.2 = 432.
Oh so now you only have around 400lbs left for food, clothes, dishes, tools, and you other misc gear that fill your cabinets and storage compartments!!
NOT A CHANCE would I buy anything with such low cargo carrying capacity. You may have a couple hundred more or less pounds in your situation, but almost guaranteed, you'll be over the weight rating if you put a 4-seat UTV in that garage.

I get it... This guy does a lot of reviews, very good ones at that! I get it he knows a thing or two about RV's. But get your facts straight buddy. A Dually is not NECESSARY with the new line of trucks on the market. The new 3500 SRW drive GM products are capable of over a 4,000lb payload capacity with nearly a 22,000 tow capacity. Also, the cargo hold is capable of more than 1,000 lbs. Cmon dude! People rely on people like you to get it right... Someone who doesn't know any better would be extremely mislead. I mean think about it. The garage is built to sleep 8 people. 2 people per bed. At an average of 150-175lbs per person. Do the math...

Disappointed. How are you going to make a garage big enough to hold my beloved 1989 s10 pickup truck, but not give me the carrying capacity? Truck is less than 15 feet, but weighs at least 2,500lbs! Grand design, think about the show cars that people could haul in this if you allowed for the weight!!! You literally excluded an entire market of potential buyers!!!! And when you redesign so the carrying capacity of the garage increases, don't take out or forget the washer dryer hookups and the weight of those appliances!

Only 1000 lbs weight? You can't fit any toys in there. Most toys are over 1000 lbs. Can't even fit a loaded touring motorcycle in there because it's overweight.
