Wanted to address some of your helpful comments:
1) Love you all and thanks for commenting!
2) I had no idea I couldn't put the other side of Bala Ged (that it doesn't count as a land in hand) into play with Burgeoning - thanks for letting me know! I will be sure to correct that mistake in the future. Really appreciate your teaching me this!
3) We did prevent Olivia from fetching the waste, because Boseiju reads "with a basic land type." Wastes, while basic, do not have a basic land type. We checked.
4) Concerning my Bala-Ged error, Olivia's waste-to-hand-instead-of-library, and Esmond's second land - We all make mistakes, but we hope the games are super fun to watch anyway! Hope you had as much fun watching as we had playing!
Don't forget the cost reduction of Boseiju :)

What allowed Esmond to play 2 lands in one turn? He played Urza's Saga at 25:09 and Raffine's Tower at 25:39 in the same turn.

I assumed it was a misplay as well. It's easy to think the saga you played isn't counting as your land for turn.
I see Esmond, and I watch the game. That was a fun one, the Headology deck was really sweet, too!

I love my colourless deck (Karn), and I knew something good was coming (Ugin) when Olivia was quiet after Headology turned off the Forge. So good.

You can’t put Bala Ged Sanctuary onto the battlefield with Burgeoning because it isn’t a “land card” while it is in the hand.
And Wastes didn’t have basic land types to search for Boseiju! Brutal!

Burgeoning can't let you put mdfc lands when an opponent plays a land because they are not land cards in your hand, the only way to put it into the battlefield is when you could play a land, like exploration
Moral of the story, play Vandalblast! Great show, happy to see Esmond!

Hey minor rules thing, but since I've seen Burgeoning played on the show before, I'm pretty positive that you can not play an MDFC on the land side for the trigger. It's not a land in the hand so it cannot be put onto the battlefield. Magic is such a complicated game lol, always enjoy y'alls videos 😁
(This is in reference to the playing of Bala God Recovery on the land side during turn 1)

Little reminder. Boseiju Channel Costa only 1 because greensleeves is on the Field and Olivia can't find a wastes of it because wastes has no basicland Type ;) if Olivia do it.

So, interesting thing, you can't actually put an mdfc onto the battlefield from burgeoning. The card is not a land card in your hand, and with burgeoning's wording, it has to be a land in your hand to be put into play.
I was about to make a comment. It would be the same as trying to put one of the pathways on the battlefield, you don't get to pick the backside. Oh well 🤷
Love how Boseiju, Who Endures is still a wild piece of cardboard even when you forget the cost reduction clause. I'm gonna give my borderless foil to my/someone cool's children. Wonder what the Boseijus then will be doing...
Anyone notice around 25:00 when Edmond starts his turn he plays 2 lands starts it off with urzas saga and then drops a tapped land after playing tezzeret and drawing

Ugin is non-targeted removal. Protection stops from being targeted.

Good game. Oh V I just got done building a 5 color myr deck if you wanted to give it a try. It's basically myr tribal with combo card draw. If you want I can send a link to the deck list on Moxfield. Lots of fun and being able to do combat for big damage as well!

I’ve found the humans deck to run a lot better with Trynn/Silvar in the command zone and Jirina in the 98. No other changes needed. Try it some time.
Y'all never guess what I just I took out if my shock torbran out of my deck replaced it with all is one+koth, fire of resistance equals 4 damage at the beginning of the turn instead of one drop
Boseiju is really strong against a colorless deck; because they always fail to find.
